This two-part buckle is formed with a dragon head clasp on one piece, and the other is slotted for hooking under the dragon's head. Each has a central medallion cast in low relief of a double gourd “magic elixir” bottle. Both pieces are finished with a stylized bat motif. The underside of each has two attached pieces to receive the belt. Much gilding remains on the fronts, though worn. The reverse of each is ungilded and has old natural patina from use...

A rare and very finely caste heavy bronze (copper tin alloy) incense burner in the form of a playful crouching 'lion'. This item was made in Ming dynasty China probably during the 16th or early 17th Century. Condition: the cover is missing; otherwise very good. Max length 35 cm.(13.75 inches), max height 18.5 cm.(7.25 inches). Weight circa 6.7 kilos (14lbs 12 oz).

DESCRIPTION: Before the availability of electricity and modern irons, this simple but useful implement was produced to iron clothes. The long wood handle is attached to a large cast iron bowl designed to hold hot coals. The bowl has been cast with designs on its outer surface and is shaped with one side flared to protect the worker’s hand. After the bowl absorbed sufficient heat from the coals, it was pressed onto the garment using the flat bottom surface to smooth out wrinkles...

A beautiful Chinese bronze tray in the shape of a heavenly peach, with sides pierced through in decorative design. The tray has an inlay scene of Immortals in billowing robes. The underside has the embossed artist's signature. Early 20th Century Size: 12.25" height, 14" width, 1.25" depth

Finely enamelled to the exterior with fibrant famille rose enamels with medallions with birds, sitting on flowering twigs. Nineteenth century. Diameter : 21,8 H : 11,5 cm. Condition : Here and there some marginal wear to the enamels, the copper bodies of the jardinieres in perfect condition.

This tripod censer is raised on three animal-masked feet that support its large, rounded body. The rim is decorated with a key fret design, and the body has ten lappets composed of stylized mask and key fret designs all in low relief. It retains its original brown patina overall with a deep greenish gray interior from use. Good condition.

This metal box is fashioned as a model of a traditional stringed instrument having an overall punched floral design and a hinged lid. The base has an impressed seal. The surface has somewhat darkened with age. It is in overall good condition.

Antique Chinese tripod censer that comes with a tall, circular stand. The lid of the censer has a playful fu dog as a finial. The front and back of the censer features a cylindrical panel with flora and fauna upon a textured background, and the handles on each side appear as large fu dog faces. Late 19th century circa 1890. A large Chinese bonbon dish made by Wang Hing. Made of mother of pearl shell with silver bamboo legs in tripod form, it is surprising sturdy. Marked Wang Hing on one of the bottom legs, it is in excellent condition and measures 5 inches high. Across, the shell measures 8.75' at its longest point and 7" at its shortest distance.

Chinese Han Dynasty (206 B.C.- A.D. 220) belt hook. Made of bronze and gilded over entire surface. This belt hook has two Taotie masks, one on either side. The end of the hook itself is shaped in the form of a tiny chimera. Comes with stand.

A fantastic Chinese silver caddy of hexagonal shape, applied with a profusion of enameled birds perched on foliage and flowers, all against a filigree ground . These little elegant pair of Jue is from the early 19th century, made of silvered and engraved bronze or brass. Height "3½/ 9 cm. Between each buddha is an inscription of chinese characters. The unusual plaque has been forged in Iron. Early to Mid Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1912) It measures 25.25" wide by 26.25" tall by 1.5" deep.

Chinese Tang Dynasty small round box made of silver and gold. Repouse designs of floret surrounded by tiny flowers. The design on the top side of the box is smaller and more intricate while the bottom of the box has a similar floret but simpler. The rim of both top and bottom is delineated by a raised ring and is encircled by scrolling vines and tiny flowers. Size: 2 1/4" wide x 1 1/4" high
