Ewer decorated with carved vertical lines, chambering its body into six sides with a carved floral band around its shoulders, below a straight cylindrical neck and is covered overall in a blue-green glaze. Its base is fully unglazed.
Measurements: height 4.9"inches or 13cm.
Condition: it is missing its cover but is in perfect condition. No repairs...

A fine,very well potted, 17/18th Century baluster shaped vase (without cover) well painted in shades of underglaze blue, depicting prunus blossom against a "cracked ice" ground.
This item was made during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662 - 1722).
Condition - excellent. There is a possibility that the rim may have been reduced and there is an extemely faint (glaze only) crack to the base...
