Lovely black lacquer Japanese vase with 2 crickets. On the back side is a red dot (2 gold dots are on the front), a very interesting and subtle design element. Note in the photos, there is some minor chipping around base. Measures: 8.5" high, 4.25" across shoulder.
This is a fine 18th century 5.75 inch Nabeshima footed dish with blue underglaze, decorated with two enameled peaches and leaves.
There are two old gold lacquer repairs to the rim.

This bag has a very tight intricate knotting with a central design of diagonal bands of blue, white and rust colors. Inside each band is a diagonal row of what appear closest to a simple wheel of fortune motif except that each symbol only has two hooked arms and is spinning in the opposite direction of a wheel of fortune motif...
Wooden nyoi (ruyi in Chinese) scepter, an implement used by Buddhist priests during a ceremony or during formal preaching. Carved naturalistically in the shape of a lotus bud on a long stem with a lotus leaf wrapped around the stem. Rose wood or sandal wood. Made in two pieces.

A Chinese Celadon Glazed Ribbed Jar and Cover. Circa, 14th Century, Yuan Dynasty.
Found in the Philippines.
Jar carved with vertical petal-like ribs and is topped with a round cover that has undulating edges and a ribbed petal-like dome. It is covered overall in a green celadon glaze, except for the base.
Measurements: height (3.5”inches or 9cm), width (3.9”inches or 10cm).
Condition: in perfect condition. No restorations. UV light checked...
Splendid and absolutely rare double vase of old Karatsu-yaki. It has a vivid Chosen-Karatsu glaze, and the grandiose embellishment of color creates a sublime sense of tension between the dark glazed and color infusion.
