A seated bronze figure of Buddha in the earth-touching gesture. The Buddha sits on a platform with openwork scroll patterns. The face is round with facial features done in an free and unusual manner that give a tranquil, meditative expression.

Condition: Good. There is a tubular opening at the back of the platform perhaps for a canopy.
Porcelain covered with green glaze to the foot with incised floral scroll and lotus petals, unglazed concave base. PERIOD : Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 7.5 cm wide, 6.5 cm tall. CONDITION: perfect, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restoration.

Big "Tunkou" of Kaishan, he who "Opens the mountain", clears it; God of mountains with a terrifying face (horns, fangs) who leads the procession during the ceremony organised for the clearing of a new field or building of a new rice field; his fierce face is intended to repulse the bad spirits (and the dangerous wild animals?).

Pipecase of the otoshizutsu form carved out of stag antler with a décor in low relief of a tiger crouching on a rock with sprigs of bamboo surrounding the rock. Surrounding the himotoshi is more bamboo. Unsigned. Japan, 19th century.

Worn with old damages in thinner areas of the stag horn and small hole approximately where the pipe head would be, further scraped off with a knife.
This ceramic Colima warrior is 6" long. It is in perfect condition with no dings, restoration or repair. It is from the estate of the late Lynn Langdon. The figure was acquired in Mexico in the mid-20th century and is attributed to the Colima horizon, c.300BC-300AD. Antique Indian painting of a holy man seated upon a throne, identified by the halo around his head, a line of followers standing before him. The first man in line bestows a ceremonial gift, painted with gilt pigment. Two men stand out of line with a domesticated jaquar. Arabic writing decorates the top and the bottom of the painting. Set in a gilt frame.

This leaf shape Chinese late 19th century export Canton blue and white dish is 7 ½” long, 5 ½” at its widest part and 1 ¼” high. It depicts buildings, trees and rock along with a lake (or river). One man holds an umbrella crossing a bridge while another man is paddling a small boat near by. It is in excellent condition.
This is a remarkable antique Huqqa crafted in the 18th century in India during the Mughal Islamic period. The Huqqa takes the shape of a bell and is made of brass covered with sheet silver. It is meticulously engraved with a beautiful and intricate silver floral pattern that is sure to captivate any admirer.
The base of the Huqqa is stamped with the name of the maker, which adds to its authenticity and historical significance.
