Japanese early 20th century period bronze USUBATA. This USUBATA is wonderfully designed with rabbits and a utensil to pound rice cakes with. The rabbits, one on each side form unique handles for the USUBATA flower container. Unsigned. It measures 11 1/2" tall, 11 1/2" in diameter at the top and 6" in diameter at the bottom.

Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Stoneware Jar with Spout

This unusual jar was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Apart from the short spout at the shoulder, it is a conventionally-shaped storage jar. The outer surface and inner mouth are coated in a black glaze. The glaze falls just short of the bottom of the jar leaving the concave base unglazed. Likewise, the inner surface also remains unglazed.

This is quite large jar with a height of 22.25cm, diameter 20.5 cm...

Ancient egyptian carnelian scarab amulet 2,6 cm

An unusually small creamer, Chinese export porcelain from the Qianlong period, c 1770. Decoration in the European taste of scattered flowers, a thin lattice border and garlands. Height "3 1/3/ 8.5 cm. Condition: a professional restoration is visible near the beak where the decoration is restored with exactly the same enamels as the original (cf. pics).

This late 19th century Chinese carved bamboo arm rest is 6 ¾ inches long and 2 ¼ inches wide. It depicts an autumn scene; three frogs resting behind lotus leaf and dry lotus pod. The poem on the top translate as: “When crabs are growing to maturity and yellow mums are withering away, I am drinking wine beneath a blue autumn sky.” The workmanship of the picture and calligraphy are just elegant. It has nice patina and is in excellent condition.

A elegant and luxurious cigarette set by Ikkakusai, Nagata Tomijiro. The work is a combination of silver, woven strips of wood, and lacquer. This vase is glazed white overall with a subtle fine crackle and has two horizontal luting lines very slightly raised on the body. The base is glazed white and the very white paste of the footring is exposed. The interior is fully glazed white. Two small iron specks are present below the shoulder. Unfortunately, there is a crack on one side that has not been restored, but is restorable...
