Finely potted porcelain dish with milky white glaze, the broad border moulded with ruyi heads. The center with fine depiction of a kirin, painted in green enamel, iron red and some gold. A fantastic pair of Chosun Dynasty Korean "grand father" guardian statues from Jeju Island. Made of local volcanic stone, dating back to the 19th century. These figures were traditionally placed in pairs and, according to legend, anyone who rubbed their noses would be blessed with fertility and the birth of a son.

Chinese Tang dynasty changsha ewer. 10 cm high. Ewer has chipped at the rim and glaze degradations because found from the river. Free from any repair.

Early 20th century large "Yun" lacquered betel box with incised design of royal scenes and dancing girls. The box is divided into four pieces. The bottom part for betel leaves and the top part for lime, areca nuts, clove and other ingredients. Size:H. 22cm Diameter: 23cm. Condition: No repairs, an old small chip on upper rim and some minor age cracks on the two bottoms.

Cup and saucer with Kutani aka-e (red) decoration of musing philosophers or poets, the back of the saucer with orchids. Late Edo or Meiji, c 1900. Signed Kutani. Diameter or saucer "4 ¾ / 12 cm, height of cup "2¼/ 5,8 cm. Condition: wear to the decoration, esp. to the saucer (cf. pics).

Three thin and lovely cups and saucers with underglaze blue reserves of landscapes, birds and couples against an iron-red and gilt background. All parts marked Mikawachi where most Hirado porcelain of the period was made. An extra saucer to go with the rest, without cost. Height of cups "2¼/ 5,8 cm, diameter of saucers "4/ 10 cm. Condition: fine.

Chinese Imari plate, late Kangxi to Yongzheng, early 18th century. Decoration of a fisherman and a pagoda in a mountainous seascape within diaper borders, all in underglaze blue and overglaze red and gilt. Diameter "9/ 23 cm. Condition: some roughness to the rim and small spots of wear to the well.

A superb quality very large pottery figure of a male attendant or official, dating to the earlier Ming Dynasty, 1400-1500 AD.

The figure is placed on a high hexagonal plint and wears a fine two-colour blue and turquoise glazed robe. The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white. Finely painted facial details.

The head is attachable as often seen on the largest figures from this period.

Chinese Export Blue and White Porcelain Charger/platter, Qianlong period, 1736-1795, 12 3/4" diameter, 2" high, underglaze blue landscape design inside the fan in the center within four(4) sets of floral sprays decorated border terminated with brown rim. One(1) hairline about 2" long glaze hairline at 3 o'clock position, it is tight and not open hairline. This charger will make nice set with #1349149.

A large natural wood lacquered brush pot with a natural burl forming in the center. The base of the pot is fairly thick. Age: late Ming. Size:H.22.5cm. L.26.5cm. W.at the base. 15.5cm. Condition. Some minor old repairs. Three old clips ,two on the rim and one on the base (see photos),possibly added during construction.

Low tea bowl of irregular round shape. Raku-yaki with red glaze, decorated with black brushed-on spots and white patches, with fine crackle over all. Inside the foot a small area is left uncovered. Japan, Edo period, early 19th century.

Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty blue and white porcelain snuff bottle featuring an elaborate hunting scene which includes animals such as wild boar, birds, deer, and a rabbit. Hunters are depicted on foot and riding horseback while shooting bows and arrows. In very good antique condition, no cracks, no hairlines. There are some minor abrasions or loss of glaze at around the rim which may have happened during firing. Height about 3 inches high.

A brass magic bowl of deep rounded form with everted rim and raised omphalos. Incised allover with talismanic inscriptions, the exterior with the twelve Zodiac signs in cartouches. Nyonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nyonyas, hence the term Nyonya ware.
