An exceptionally rare turquoise-glazed porcelain vase or flask made in the Jingdezhen kilns, Jiangxi province,China, during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). The neck is decorated with upright plantain leaves, each shoulder with styalized lotus scroll design and applied buddhistic lion head. The central panels front and back feature the Hehe Erxian - the twin Immortals of Union and Harmony - one holding a basket from which has been released a bat, in flight amongst clouds...
A perfectly potted, powder blue glazed dish with a gilt decoration of a dragon. Qianlong underglaze blue Seal Mark and of the period ( 1736 - 1795 ). Diameter : 15,3 cm. Condition : Some wear to the gilt decoration, otherwise in perfect condition.

A good early 18th Century bowl decorated in underglaze blue on the inside with a river landscape and with a prunus pattern border. The outside is decorated with floral panels against a powder blue ground. This item was made during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor (1662-1722). This very well carved gold gilt wood Buddha (Japanese name is Amida Nyorai or Amida Butsu.) is 18 ½” high, 7” wide and 6” thick (including base), the Buddha is 11 ¾” high, 3 ½” wide and 3” thick. It is a mid or late 18th century piece. His right hand facing outward means wisdom and his left hand facing downward means compassion. The halo on the back is missing. Aside from missing small pieces on the base and gold gilt lacquer lost from the robe, it is in excellent condition.
