An early Eighteenth century export dish decorated with a central motif of a Large Vase on a Veranda containing an arrangement of Cherry flowers and Peonies. The border is divided into a series of fan shaped reserves of increasing size. Each separated by further vertical bands of blue brocade inset with Kikumon, The design is something of a departure from the more usual regular formats based upon the Kraak fuyo-de pattern...

Unfortunately the images are not able to show the strenght resp. the richness of the really superb and glossy turquoise glaze which covers a very nice moulded floral decoration with all in all 10 boys. This really extremely nice vase is displayed in its exactly fitting old wooden stand. Kangxi period 18th. century. H :( with stand ): 32,6 cm. ( Without stand ) : 28,2 cm. Condition : Perfect. Second of three molded, foliate Kangxi blue and white plates in superb condition. Decorated with eight figures in period costumes in cobalt blue. No chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or glaze crackle. About 9-1/4" or 23.5cm diameter. The "sleeve dance" depicted can be traced back at least as early as the Zhou dynasty. Please note the finely decorated reverse side with ring of Lingzhi cartouches. Under glaze cobalt blue is identical on all three plates...

A Large and Fine Blue and White Porcelain Dish: Korean, Choson dynasty, late18th-early 19th Century This is well potted and high quality of warm and semi transparent white glaze applied overall, it bears a character "longevity" underglaze blue on the dish. It is a quite large, and there are some beautiful spots of pink peach blossom colors under white glaze. It is in perfect condition. Measurements: 9 1/4" x 2".

Antique Chinese Ming Dynasty porcelain plate with celadon glaze decorated with a molded raised pair of raised fish in the center. The underside of the plate has a raised lotus motif with petals radiating out from the unglazed foot. The twin fish is an auspicious symbol representing harmonious marriage and good fortune.

A very large, exceptionally finely cast, bronze censer in Ming form but with archaic (Zhou) style decoration of Imperial quality. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Ming Xuande emperor (1426-1435) but this item was made in China later, during the early 18th Century. Condition - there is old impact damage with an old repair - please view enlargements 5,6,7 and 8; also the five clawed dragons on the base have had a single claw removed; no further damages or restoration...

A late Ming painted and gilt wood figure 
modelled as a dignitary standing on the backs of a coiled dragon and a tiger, the figure wearing elaborate robes and a tabbed hat, all on a rectangular base -- 8in. (21cm.) high.

Ca. early 1700s

This rare cylindrical vessel has visible rings on the exterior from the potting intended to imitate a section of bamboo. The rich, raspberry-toned glaze stops evenly just above the well-cut footring. The exposed paste is smooth and white with even wear from years of use. The base is glazed white; it is finely crackled and naturally stained from use and time. A line of pale orange re-oxidation encircles the interior and exterior of the footring where the glaze stops...

Cast bronze incense burner. Simple, tripod shape, with cut-out rather than welded handles. Despite its simplicity, this censer is of a good quality finish, in fact you can see on some photos the traces of the passage of the scraper tool which makes a perfectly smooth surface. Below cast in the mass the mark of Xuande. Although bearing this mark of the 15th century, this type of bronze is from the Qing period...

A large plate decorated in the three colour sancai palette with a central Peony motif with three reserves one with Peonies, emblematic of Spring, a pair of Quails beneath Millet and another with Chrysanthemums, emblematic of the months of Autumn. The partially ogee form reserves set against a blue brocade ground with stylised Chrysanthemums. The reverse decorated with three Peony sprigs. A three spur marks in a triangular arrangement to the base...

Hand painted in dark underglaze blue with a serrated rim this large bowl is soft paste porcelain. The decoration of a Chinese arrangement of flowers and twining plants is typical of Tournai. Height 4.5 inches (11 cm) and 11 inches (28 cm) diameter. Late 18th century.

Condition: no chips, cracks or repairs. Some scratches to the interior of the bowl and small flaw in the body of the bowl.

This style of decoration was popular at the time and still looks excellent today.

An elegant and superbly proportioned antique English toasting wine glass with a a drawn flared trumpet bowl atop a plain stem and conical foot; rough pontil. A beautiful and graceful glass, and quite uncommon in lead, as this one is.
