This is an extremely rare Egyptian wood carving of the god Ptah-Sokar-Osiris with a plumed crown and ram horns. It dates to 664-525 BC. It measures 57.7 cm in height (22.7"), 23.3 cm at its widest and 10.2 cm at its greatest depth. The wood has 6 different pigments that have been painted onto the wood in intricate designs. I have the most wonderful little porcelain garden of place card holders I have ever seen. All the flowers are spring-summer blooms of different varieties. These are two wooden miniature Fudos ( Cetaka ) who is the incarnate of Dainichi Nyorai, the highest ranking Buddha. It is said that he can change evil minds of demons and make them good. This cast metal figure of a farm girl is an early 20th century (late Meiji) product. It depicts a bare footed farm girl carrying a large basket on her shoulder. It is 11 ¼” high and 4 1/8” in diameter at the base. The tip of the small stick she holds in her left hand is broken off. Aside from this, it is in very good condition.

These 5 ceramic cups and saucers were produced in France by Creil, c.1820. The factory was founded in 1797 and continues today. The Victoria & Albert Museum has examples of Creil cream ware on exhibit. The saucers measure 4 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches deep. They would be a coffee size.
