Red pottery moulded figure, glazed in turquoise, amber and black. On the back of his stool there is a coin symbol ( god of wealth?). H. 20 cm. Overall in very good condition with wear and flaking to the glaze and a chip at the back of his right arm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Lovely fluted porcelain teapot decorated in the Imari palette with butterflies and flowers. H. 12,5 cm. This teapot is in in excellent condition: original lid, no cracks, chips or repairs, only minor ware to the gilding.

Lavishly inlaid with engraved mother of pearl. Dimensions: 30,5 x 18 x 11 cm. Exceptional good condition with almost all the inlay still intact, only some minor pieces missing. The wood has some age cracks and one of the long sides is a bit crooked. The brass corner pieces are all original.

H. 14,5 cm. One side decorated with a landscape with figures, the other side with flowers. Condition: firing crack in the neck, age cracks in the glaze. Comes with the original Christie's sticker, the original certificate and the invoice from 1992. The Vung Tau sank in 1690 on its way from China to Batavia, Indonesia. The cargo was meant for Amsterdam. The wreck was found in the early 90's and it's content was auctioned at Christie's Amsterdam in 1992. The auction became a craze and the porcelain ffetched many times more than estimated. This vase was bought from an antique shop in 1992 for the equivalent of 1700 euros.

High ranking court lady with exquisite hairdo. White pottery with remains of red and black pigments. H. 30 cm. Good condition. Tang Dynasty (618-907). At our gallery we have ca. 50 pieces of pottery on display.

Military horse and soldier,the soldier wearing a helmet and the horse wearing a kind of harness. Lovely piece in the typical style of the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577). Height 34,5 cm. Good condition. Comes with a thermoluminescence test from Ralf Kotalla.

A very rare and early example with its original polychrome and clear traces of long time use. Note the glossy patina on the back of the mask. Decorated with a dragon hunting the flaming pearl. Made in two segments with a horizontal seam. Excellent condition with slight age wear and scratches to the glaze. H. 7 cm , diameter 8 cm.

Rare and large bronze shrine. The central figure is a Jina or Tirthankara. He is surrounded by small Jina's on the back plate. Each of the 24 Tirthankaras is represented by an animal or a symbol. There is an engraved animal on the foot of this shrine, but it is hard to distinguish which animal it is. The shrine is in an excellent condition, all three parts belong together, there are no repairs. It has a clean appearance due to the daily worshipping and washing tradition in Jainism. A very fine example of Burmese lacquer ware, dating from the Mandalay period, ca. late 19th/early 20th century. Apart from sone minor chips to the lacquer and normal age wear, this offering bowl is in excellent condition. H. 58 cm. Diameter 31 cm.
