A rare, delicately hammered dress clip by the well known Danish silversmith, Erik Magnussen. After working at Gorham and having his own shops in Chicago and New York, he opened a shop in Hollywood and designed for the stars. Returned to Denmark in 1939. This clip measures 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" across. Marked with the conjoined EM monogram, Sterling, ERIK M. and Hollywood. Spring in clips still holds. A wonderful Danish Skonvirke sterling silver brooch signed SJ for S. L. Jacobsen. Jacobsen was a silversmith who collaborated with Evald Nielsen, a well known jewelry designer known for his Skonvirke designs. Measures 2 1/2" long and 2" at the widest. Has two green stone cabochons. Marked 830S SJ 830S on the back. Beautiful Arts and Crafts design. Has an older 'C' clasp. Very nice condition, one minor ding near the edge of the top piece. Quality piece. Beautiful classic Danish design.

An outstanding vintage modernist sterling silver necklace and earrings by studio jeweler, Fridl Blumenthal. Signed with her Tulip mark on the necklace and FRIDL, Sterling, Tulip, and the number 32 on each earring. The findings on the earrings are also marked sterling. A wonderfully crafted sterling silver brooch with leaves and cherries by the Chicago silver firm, Kalo. Measures approximately 1 3/4" across and 2" long. Marked Hand Wrought Sterling Kalo. and 109. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Beautiful condition.

A vintage Art Deco style sterling silver and marcasite lapel watch brooch by Gotham. Has a wind up mechanism which runs erratically. Marked Sterling and the number 1. Has some numbers scratched on the back of the brooch part. Crystal is in nice condition. Missing one marcasite near the top of the brooch. Rollover clasp holds tightly. Blue enameled hands. Very pretty watch.

A sterling silver with 18K gold overlay cut out cuff bracelet in the style of Graziella Laffi. Signed Industria Peruana, JVC for the artisan, 925 and 18K. Measures 6" around with an additional 1 3/4" opening. 1 3/4" at the widest. Very nice condition, some very minor tarnish and surface scratches. Well made and heavy. Striking design!

An important early brooch of sterling silver by the acclaimed American modernist jeweler, Margaret De Patta. Measures 3" long and 1 5/8" at the widest. Early incised maker's mark. Circa 1935. Heavy layered sterling in an abstract floral design. Wonderful condition, with some very minor surface scratches and tarnish. Missing the rollover bar on the clasp. Slight bend on the pin. A similar De Patta brooch can be seen in the Philips de Pury Design Auction dated May 24, 2007, lot number 189...

A fabulous modernist bracelet in sterling silver by Kultateollisuus, Ky of Turku Finland. Designed by Jorma Laine. Looks like rows of little people standing in windows.

Measures 7 1/2" long and 1" across.

Has an intricate very mid century design. Has a slide in pin clasp with a safety catch. Very well made.

Marked with the flying hammer for the maker, Crown for Finland, 830H for the silver standard, Finland, and the marks for Turku and 1970.

A wonderful hammered sterling silver neck ring with a large pendant of a fish in mosaics. Has an iridescent eye. Neck ring is approximately 16 1/2" around. Hard to measure due to the curvature of the links. Lightly hammered, very nice work. Pendant measures about 4 1/2" long and 1 1/4" at the widest. Hook closure. Great condition, silver has a warm patina. Vibrant colors. Eye catching piece!

An iconic pair of sterling silver earrings by Frank Miraglia, based on a famous Ed Wiener design. Originally based on a photograph of the well known modernist dancer and choreographer, Martha Graham.

Earrings measure 1" tall and 3/4" across. Signed F. Miraglia N.Y. Sterling. Screw part is also signed Sterling. Screw backs work fine and hold tightly. Have a minor amount of tarnish.

A rare hand wrought bracelet by Madeline Turner, a New York City Jeweler who worked from the 1930's to the 1950's. She designed jewelry for Georg Jensen USA. In sterling silver with periwinkle blue art glass cabochons. Marked with her conjoined M Turner hallmark. Measures about 6 1/4" around and about 1" wide. Clasp snaps closed tightly. Has a safety clasp. In very nice condition. A wonderful example of her work.

Great dark patina. Clips hold tightly. Measure about 1 1/4" long and 3/4" across. Marked Steig Sterling on the backs and Sterling with a patent number on the clips. One of the green stones has a scratch near the edge. Well made. Wonderful organic design.

A great pair of screw back sterling silver Mask earrings by listed artist and sculptor, Charles Val Clear. Signed Charles Val and Sterling. Screw backs are also marked sterling. Measure 1 1/2" long and 1/2" across. Have a nice contrasting patina for a cool effect. Screw backs hold tightly. Very Mid Century.

A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver cuff links by noted silversmith, Ed Wiener. Have a dotted texture contrasted by a more satin finish. Measure 3/4" long and 3/8" across. Marked Ed Wiener, Sterling. Toggles work fine. Cool Mid Century design.

A vintage sterling silver abstract modernist ring from the shop of Walter Wright, a Los Angeles jeweler. Wright was an associate of Margaret De Patta and sold her work and other modernist jewelry. A five sided central design with three dimensional circles and bars coming off a blackened background. Approximately a size 10. Marked Walter Wright Sterling. Has some tarnish, a few scratches on the back of the band and a little wear to the black. Great example of mid-century modern studio jewelry.
