This porcelain sugar bowl with lid and cream pitcher was produced in the United States around 1900. It is signed by Osborne who was an artist at Pickard and later opened his own decorating studio. The sugar bowl measures 6 inches across the handles and is approximately 4 1/4 inches high, including the lid. The decoration is in the art nouveau style. There are cartouches of stylized flowers on a cobalt ground. Three borders of decoration are painted with blue and white luster colors...

English Edwardian Classical sterling silver tray, 1908. Rectangular with tapering sides and everted rim. Scroll and flower border applied to well and rim. Corner ball supports. Fully marked including London assay stamp and stamp for New Bond Street retailer Finnigans Ltd. Very good condition.

Small vase, an early piece from the Reissner & Kessel manufactory in Turn-Teplitz in present Czechia. The exterior unglazed with carved and enameled decoration of scrollwork and flowers, the interior white-glazed. Impressed crown mark for 1892 – 1910 to the base, Amphora, Austria, model numbers and more. Near the base the exterior has got another mark, partly illegible and possibly the name of the designer (T Goto (?) cf. pics). Height "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: fine.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in the US by Willets Belleek between 1880 and 1904. The porcelain is very translucent and has designs that are molded into it. The cup has a fancy molded handle and a little pedestal. The rims have irregular, scalloped edges. The set is hand painted with gilded flowers and foliage that flows across the surface. An antique traditional women's folk costume headdress from Bavaria called "Priener Hut". The outside covered with black velvet, both sides with a pair tassels worked in gold wires, frippery and glass beads. The underside of the hat brim with splendid goldwork in gold and silver wires decorated with glass beads. The sides with the long, often missing, embroidered velvet and silk ribbons. Green silk lining and maker's label "Therese Allinger - Hutgeschäft - Obing"...

The box is bound with silverplated mountings and a lock. The box was almost certainly made by the “OtyM.F. Atelier”. Locked tea boxes were a holdover from earlier days when tea was a precious commodity that had to be kept safe from marauding servants.

A pair of so-called Whimsey glass vases c1900. Glass whimseys, or end-of-day glass, were made at the end of the day's glass production by glassmakers using leftover glass; these items were usually taken home and given as gifts. Many forms were produced, including glass canes, figurines and artistic objects. This pair is made of amber and citrene coloured glass with white highlights and ribbon decoration...

A lovely cut glass perfume bottle cut from cranberry to clear. The design incorporates wide miters separated by combinations of fans, strawberry diamond and star motifs. The shoulders of the bottle are panel cut, and the base is finished with a 24-point star. The lapidary-cut stopper is original to the bottle and is engraved with the same number as the inside of the bottle's neck.

15K Victorian chain with a link design consisting of two "paperclips" joined together at a perfect 90 degree angle, leading to a lovely unusual lovers knot link where the lover's knot is wrapped in a braided pattern several times about a simple oval link (see close ups). A vintage child's pair of kid leather and suede shoes with wooden buttons c1900. These high-side shoes are still soft and supple with only surface creases on the (slightly soiled) leather. The buttons are painted, and the suede soles have a branded 0 on the bottom. They are stamped 0 D660 on the interior, they are 4-3/8" long and 3" high, and they are in excellent condition with no losses, damage or repairs.
