Hard paste fluted handless cup and saucer decorated with a brownish purple edge, flowers and a green and black band with elaborate breaks and red bindings. In the center of the saucer three larger flowers and a single flower at the bottom of the cup. Unmarked though probably Champions, circa 1775. Cup 1 ¾ inches tall, 2 ¾ inches diameter. Saucer 4 5/8 inches diameter.

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Very little wear.

Edwardian sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Frank M. Whiting Co. in North Attleboro, Mass., ca 1910. Lobed and oval body on short and scalloped foot. Capped and scroll-mounted high-looping handle. Scrolled helmet mouth with applied rim. Pretty with nice heft. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. 2511, and volume (3 1/2 pts). Very good condition.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1890s. It has the first quality blue under glaze crossed swords mark. The bears measure 5 1/2" high, have a width of 3 3'4" and is 3 1/2" deep. They are modeled in fine detail and are hand painted. They look like frisky characters. A superb and early spread base mug example of the Worcester "Walk in the Garden" pattern. Although Branyan, in his book "Worcester Blue and White Porcelain 1751 - 1790" indicates the date range for this pattern to be 1755 to 1765, the lovely pale grayish-blue color of the decoration and the presence of a scratch cross mark on the base would place manufacture of this mug (or tankard) several years earlier, making this a truly exceptional piece...

Outstanding sterling silver sardine fork with a fabulous Art Nouveau pattern of Oriental poppies and foliage. Both the front and back are beautifully detailed. The tines are lightly matte gilt. The back is stamped with the hallmark for the Baker Manchester Silver Co. (Providence, RI), a company famous for its ornate serving pieces.

Origin: America, circa 1900. Condition: excellent, sharp detail, no monogram. Size: 5-1/4" long.

Pair of Victorian Classical sterling silver compotes. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Each: Round solid well and concave sides with pierced leafing scrollwork; raised foot. Rims have applied leafing scrollwork and buds that suggest the influence of Chrysanthemum. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 8743, and director’s letter T (1892-1902). A Magnificent George III Sterling Silver Hot Water Jug by the Noted Silversmith Paul Storr, Hallmarked in London, 1809. A Unique Double Ivory Handle, Emanating from Serpents and ending in an Inverted Swans Head. A Gadrooned Lower Base and a Gadroon and Shell Design on the Shoulder. The number "798" is just next to the Storr Hallmark. Dimensions: 8.5" high, weight 32 standard/ 29.2 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

Two double-handled cake plates with natural flowers surrounded by a border in cobalt blue, cream and gilt. Unmarked, c 1830 and probably by Ridgway. Width "9 ¼ and 9 ¾ / 23.5 and 24.5 cm respectively. Condition: a firing crack to one plate visible from behind, otherwise fine.

English Papier Mache Display Shelf with lacquered Chinoiserie decorated shelf, either place on the table or hang on the wall, 8 1/2" high-maximum height, 13" wide and 4 1/4" deep. Family enjoying outing in the Pavilion design in front and side panels. There are two(2) brass hook to hold the side panels together with bottom shelf, and brass hinges hold side pieces to the back. There are some house paint on the back side, but they don't show from the front side...

A Webster sterling silver swing handle candy or bonbon basket from 1900. This Queen Anne style basket has an openwork handle, a gadrooned design and a script GDH monogram in the interior. It measures 6-1/4 x 4-3/8" and it stands 1-1/2" high without the 4" high handle. It is stamped with STERLING and the Webster silver mark and it weighs 66.1 grams. It is in excellent condition with no bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the monogram and some very slight dents on the initial area...

This porcelain oyster plate was produced in France by Charles Ahrenfeldt Limoges in the 1890s. It measures 9 inches in diameter. It has 6 wells and a salt compartment in the center. The plate is decorated with factory transfer designs that are colored by hand. There is an assortment of sea creatures accented with flowers. The border and shell compartments are highlighted with brushed-on gilding. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain serving dish was produced in France by Theodore Haviland Limoges in the late 19th century. It measures 13 inches long and 6 3/4 inches wide. The porcelain has molded decoration and handles are built into the dish. We know that it is factory decorated since there is an impressed mark as well as a printed mark. The border is turquoise blue. This color blue is used in the decoration and is overlaid with fancy gilding so only a little of the blue shows through...
