An important antique drinking glass, a beautiful tall Newcastle light baluster (NLB), featuring the Dutch engraved coat of arms of Kurt Christof, Count von Schwerin. The engraved border has a pair of sitting doves, foliage, and a single dove about to take flight. The large pointed round funnel bowl sits atop an inverted baluster knop, above an angular knop, which in turn is above a true baluster knop...
Russian wooden egg, lacquered in black and painted. One side with an orthodox cross and the other probably depicting St Basil’s cathedral in the Kremlin in the late 19th century. It might also show the then newly erected cathedral of the Assumption in Omsk. Height "4 / 10.5 cm. Condition: the painted decoration is flaking, as is the black lacquer (cf. pics).
A nice double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass with an ovoid bowl (slightly ogee) which has a fluted lower half. The stem has a pair of 9-ply spiral bands outside of a lace twist. Conical foot, snapped pontil.

This porcelain slipper was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It measures approximately 6 1/4 inches long and 2 inches wide. The porcelain is modeled in the shape of a slipper with a fold in the heel. The decoration is hand painted in cobalt blue and gold. It has an elaborate design of stylized birds and flowers that are reminiscent of Persian style. There is gold trim around the rim of the slipper.
Condition is excellent.

German 800 silver cow creamer, ca 1910. Stocky body, flexed ears, flicked-back tail handle, and hinged and stippled back flap with engraved wreath and applied fly finial. A gentle face with red-glass eyes and gaping-mouth spout. A capacious dispenser on four firmly planted hoofs. German marks and American importer’s mark for Buchholz & Zelt in New York. Very good condition.

This porcelain basket was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. It is 11 inches long, 8 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches high. The porcelain is hard paste of the highest quality. The sides of the basket are reticulated giving it a woven effect. There are two rococo style handles on each side. The center of the bowl is hand painted with a lovely spray of brightly colored flowers. They are realistically portrayed in the Meissen style...

A pair of lidded small pewter ewers or tankards, antique burettes once used in The Holy Mass. An engraved A to one lid and a V to the other, for Aqua (water) and Vinum (wine) respectively. Each hold about 8 centiliters, an amount which obviously relates to an old measuring system, maybe German. The design - with the cherubim below the spouts and the hearts above them, as well as the shells to the handles - is definitely 18th century Rococo...
A rare and lovely English porcelain compote with a canary yellow ground on the bowl and pedestal, the center of the bowl hand painted with a bouquet of flowers. Edges are and handle accents are enameled in aubergine. Underside is hand painted 3. Overall condition is excellent, with some soiling below average for age which we attribute to c. 1820-30. This compote is an excellent specimen.

This set of 8 porcelain plates was produced in England by Minton in 1863. The name Minton is impressed with date ciphers indicating this year. The plates measure 9 ½ inches in diameter. They are made of fine, white bone china. The reticulated borders around the plates are 1 ¾ wide. They are outlined in heavy celeste blue enamel known as French enamel. A pair of beautiful, hand-painted glass vases made by Bohemian master, Moser. The amber-colored, ribbed glass vases have blue-colored applied scroll-feet and lava-drippings from the top rims. Each vase is 12 1/4 inches (31 cm) tall and 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide. Except for a couple of chips on the blue-glass applications of one vase (see last two pictures), which are typical of these old applied-glass vases, the vases are in decent condition. Polished pontils (slight 'pull' on one vase's pontil)...
