This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Berlin, Germany by the Royal Porcelain Manufacturer, known as KPM, in the 1890s. It has the under glaze blue scepter and over glaze red orb with the letters KPM. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/8 inches high with a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. The hard paste porcelain is of the finest quality ever produced. The ground color is deep cobalt blue...

This porcelain vase was produced in Germany by the Donath Dresden Studio in the 1890s. It is 9 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches across the handles. The vase has a unique shape with rococo style feet, handles and molded relief. Every inch is filled with delightful details. The front and back panels have hand painted scenes of young lovers in garden settings. They are dressed in 18th century costumes. The opposite panels are painted with iridescent lavender and cream colored reserves...

From our European Collection, a good late 19th century bronze figural inkwell, probably French.

Size and Condition: 9 inches wide, 5 1/4 inches tall, 6 1/4 inches deep. Some verdigris to the patina, the interior glass ink container liner has a small crack, and the inkwell lid does not fully close, though this can easily remedied with a competent repair. Still fine overall condition.

Splendid vase made in France in the last quarter of the 19th Century. Cobalt-blue porcelain slender ovoid body finely painted with angelical theme (signed). Marble base, molded bronze cloisonne on the shoulder, neck and foot. Excellent condition. Height 9", diameter 2.25" aprox.

A wheel thrown transfer printed and hand painted double-handled "Loving" Chamber Pot made as a novelty wedding gift "Marrige Present", circa 1840, in either Sunderland or Staffordshire. Condition : there is a re-glued old break to one handle; and there is a curved crack to the rim on the underside which is less shorter on the upper side and does not reach the rim (please view enlargements 6 & 7); no further damages and no restoration. 21.5cm (8.5 inches) diameter; 13cm (5.2 inches) high...

An antique Japanese Buddha statue of Shaka Nyorai standing on a Lotus stand made of wood and finished in gilt. The Buddha has the Vitarka Mudra hand gesture symbolizing the wisdom and teachings of Buddhism. The nimbus has 7 sitting Buddha in meditation surrounding Shaka Nyorai.

A nicely designed American Aesthetic Period sterling silver pocket or fruit knife with sterling blade and seed pick, marked STERLING and makers mark. Monogrammed HELEN. Size is 3 1/8" long closed, 5 3/8" long with blade unfolded. In excellent original condition with clear, crisp detail, this protective and functional little knife is a handbag keeper.

This is a very large, very seldom seen, antique, Buddhist Temple Mokugyo. A Mokugyo is a wooden percussion instruments that is used by monks at Buddhist Temples (in Japan, China and Korea) during Buddhist ceremonies that involve the recitation of sutras or mantras to maintain rhythm during chanting. It is made from mostly KUSU (Camphor) wood. For large temple Mokugyos such as this one, the wood must be at least 100-years old...

This set of 12 porcelain bread and butter plates was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the 1880s. Not all the plates are pictured but there are 12 in the set. The plates have a diameter of 6 1/4 inches. The rims are slightly scalloped. They are hand painted with charming sprays and garlands of flowers in a palate of blue, pink and yellow. There is delicate hand gilded trim. There is a cartouche with a gilded monogram on the rims...

A finely painted and gilded "soft-paste" porcelain breakfast size Moustache Cup (right-handed) dedicated to a John P. Small in 1882, possibly a presentation piece. Condition: there are two old 1cm hairlines to the rim: no further damages and no restoration. 8cm (3.1 inches) high; 9cm (3.5 inches) diameter.

Absolutely beautiful silver plate tray with center crest and decoration, handles on each end and fabulous serpentine, reticulated edges. This tray is marked by the maker, but I couldn't find the mark. It is old and in excellent condition. It measures 29 1/2" long x 22" deep.

This is the perfect toasting goblet to ring in the holidays. Bohemian, hand blown, deep green colored crystal, intricately engraved with four gilt holly bough pattern, gold banded trim, in the style of Josephinehutte, c.1885. Measures 7 3/4"H; Condition: excellent with slight gilt wear to top of rim.

A Silver Plated Revolving Bacon or Breakfast Warming Dish or Tureen with a Roll Top and an Ivory Button on the Handle. Two removable liners, one solid and one pierced. Made by Mappin & Webb, circa 1890, and marked "Triple Deposit", "Princes Plate" and "London & Sheffield". Dimensions; 13" long x 8" deep x 7.5" high. Excellent condition.

This porcelain tea cup and suacer was produced in Bohemia by Pirkenhammer in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 ½ inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The rim of the saucer and the foot of the cup are reticulated. The set has a wine colored ground color with reserves of gilded urns filled with colorful flowers. The hand painting and raised gilding has fine detail. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold...

This is a fine Dresden porcelain four-part serving dish for hors d'oeuvres, each piece scallop-shaped with layered ribbing on a white ground, hand-painted with flowers and gilt, made by Helena Wolfsohn, ca. 1886-1891, makers mark and impressed numbers 2396 on underside; Measurement: each dish measures 5 3/4 L x 7 1/4 W.
