Lovely pair of Italian Porcelain Capo di Monte amphoras. The exquisite scenaries are painted by hand.The seal is located at the bottom of each amphora. The Capo di Monte was established in the mid 1700's by King Charles of Naples, this explaining the "N" seal above the crown.
Measures: approx. 10.5"(26.5cm) height, diameter from the top: 5.75" (14.5 cm), base: 4.5" length X 4.5" (approx. 11.5 cm) width X 2.5" (6.5 cm) height.

A very large and fine example of the designs created by Edward Sands Frost for hooked rungs in the latter part of the 19th century, featuring a King Charles Spaniel in the central oval, surrounded by a garland of flowers and scrolling elements, colors still vivid, professionally mounted on frame with backing. This is an elegantly proportioned wine glass with a flared bell bowl and a color twist stem. The stem has two translucent red and two opaque white spiral threads surrounding a loose vertical cable. The foot is of conical form with a rough snapped pontil.

Antique Japanese wooden fish jizai, designed for hanging a pot over fire to boil. Has a long iron chain with attached hook running from the tail, through the body, and coming out of the bottom. Very detailed carving showing charring from the fire.

This porcelain tea cup and suacer was produced in Bohemia by Pirkenhammer in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 ½ inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The rim of the saucer and the foot of the cup are reticulated. The set has a wine colored ground color with reserves of gilded urns filled with colorful flowers. The hand painting and raised gilding has fine detail. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold...

A Porcelain Armorial Plate made by Edme Samson et Cie, Paris, featuring the Weld Family Crest. It is marked "Weld" on the back and "Ovington Brothers, New York" (old Fifth Avenue Retailer). Dimensions; 9" in diameter x 1" high. Circa 1890 and in excellent condition.

This set of 12 porcelain bread and butter plates was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the 1880s. Not all the plates are pictured but there are 12 in the set. The plates have a diameter of 6 1/4 inches. The rims are slightly scalloped. They are hand painted with charming sprays and garlands of flowers in a palate of blue, pink and yellow. There is delicate hand gilded trim. There is a cartouche with a gilded monogram on the rims...

This porcelain vase was produced in Germany by the Donath Dresden Studio in the 1890s. It is 9 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches across the handles. The vase has a unique shape with rococo style feet, handles and molded relief. Every inch is filled with delightful details. The front and back panels have hand painted scenes of young lovers in garden settings. They are dressed in 18th century costumes. It has the under glaze blue scepter and over glaze red orb with the letters KPM. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/8 inches high with a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. The hard paste porcelain is of the finest quality ever produced. The ground color is deep cobalt blue...
