A hard paste porcelain cup and saucer with gilding of lyres with arrows supporting swags. Two panels on the saucer and one on the cup displaying in differently toned gilding elaborate outdoor scenes with people, buildings, trees and other details. The partially gilt handle scrolls to the top edge. Two-tone leaves ring the lower part of the cup. There are no marks on either the cup or saucer. Inscribed in the body of the saucer inside the fool is what appears to be “n6” in a bold hand...

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode around 1800. It has a specious Sevres marking over the glaze. The handle is found in Berthoud’s Compendium of Cups. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/8 inches and it is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high with an opening of 3 1/8 inches in diameter. The pattern is quite colorful with panels of hand painted flowers and panels of geometric designs. The gilding is elaborate. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by KPM in 1918. It has a diameter of 8 inches. There is an artist’s monogram on the back. The porcelain is molded with a wavy edge. The center of the plate has a hand painted scene of a wintry landscape. The trees are painted in excellent detail. It captures the beauty of the season. The plate has some gilded accents. A rare Channel Islands sterling silver trefid table spoon by silversmith Thomas David Mauger, of Jersey (active 1730-1796). Circa 1740. Engraved with original owner's initials "ILC" in shaded block letters on the reverse of the notched trefid handle. There is a worn ribbed rat tail to the reverse of the shallow bowl. This pair of porcelain plates were produced in England by Cauldon in the 1890s. They were produced especially for Bailey, Banks & Biddle of Philadelphia. The porcelain is fine bone china. They measure 8 3/4” in diameter. The ground color is ruby red, overlaid with tiny gilded flower buds. The heavy gold borders are accented with bright colored flowers in heavy enamel. You can feel the enameling with your finger tips...

A large and very decorative press molded and marbled glass shell, purple and (greenish) white with. Mouth blown in the mould, with the rough pontil mark on the bottom side. English, possibly by Davidson & Co, c 1880. Height "3 1/4/ 8 cm, width 5 "¼/13,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A fine painted gameboard painted with red numbers on black squares on a brown background. This type of gameboard was supposedly used for playing checkers games by mail, using the numbers to describe the piece positions; also possibly used for teaching checkers; size is 29 1/2" by 21" by 1 1/2". Excellent condition.

A design of a green cross with all sides equal enclosed in a rectangle on one point with red steps and green saw teeth in rows and columns of five against a background of light and dark blue checked fabric. Geometric quilting of waves around the outside and rectangular quilting in the other light squares. Great printed cotton backing.

Condition: May never have been washed as the blue chalk lines for the quilting are still visible...

This set of 6 porcelain plates were made in France in the mid 19th century. The may have been made by a Paris porcelain decorator. The plates have a diameter of 9 5/8 inches. They are made of fine hard paste porcelain. The rims are scalloped. They are decorated in the Sevres style and have the crossed L’s under glaze. The decoration is completely hand painted. An Old French Faience Armorial Plate, Bearing the Arms for the Monjoye Family "an old French name dating to at least the 17th century). Plate is believed to be from the early/mid 19th century, or earlier. Dimensions; 10" in diameter. Plate has some crazing and some fretting on the rim. Mark on bottom.

Another wonderful offering of Vauxhall porcelain, this one a tea bowl and saucer, finely potted and painted in the highly desirable "sticky blue". The scene on both pieces features a pagoda and houses in the background, with a large rock in the foreground.

The condition is excellent, looking factory fresh, with no chips, cracks, paint loss, staining, restoration, etc...

These plates were produced in Germany by KPM Royal Berlin Manufactory before 1920. They are 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The porcelain borders are cut out or reticulated in a lattice type pattern. They are hand painted in the style of Meissen. The flowers are colorful and realistic. You can see the veins in the leaves and the texture of the flower petals. Gilding accents the reticulated borders. Chose from A or B or buy them both. Condition: Excellent
