This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1890s. It has the first quality blue under glaze crossed swords mark. The bears measure 5 1/2" high, have a width of 3 3'4" and is 3 1/2" deep. They are modeled in fine detail and are hand painted. They look like frisky characters.

This porcelain platter was produced in France by Haviland & Co Limoges around 1900. The platter has both an underglaze and printed mark from the factory. The diameter of the platter is 12 3/4 inches. It has a beaded gold border. The transfer decoration of large pink roses is set in a burgundy ground. There is ornate gilding accenting the border. This platter is beautiful to display and wonderful to serve with at your table.

KPM (Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur) Meissen porcelain cup and saucer in a dusty rose pink with gold trimming and designs of grapes and grape leaves. KPM is the highest grade of hard paste Meissen. The maker's mark is fired in underglaze blue underneath both the cup and saucer.
The saucer is 6 inches in diameter and the cup is 3 inches in diameter and 3 inches in hight.

Porcelain hand painted figure of a musician playing a lute(?). The original by Bustelli was modeled in the mid-18th century. This is a later copy, after 1887 when the factory was taken over by Albert Baumi and the old models revived. Nymphenburg shield and the numbers 59 and 0 impressed on the underside. 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm) tall and 5 3/8 inches (13.5 cm) across the base.
Condition: undamaged except for three of the four tuning pegs and part of the red bow on his left shoe missing.

A blown moulded Art Nouveau green Loetz glass vase with 'Cherry Sprig' pewter mounts, probably designed by Frederich Adler, and made by Orion Pewter, Nuremberg, Germany circa 1905. A similar vase is illustrated in "20th Century Pewter" by Paul Carter Robinson (2012) ISBN 978 1 85149 6150.
Condition: there are some very small surface nicks to the glass and slight bumps to the pewter; no cracks, losses or repairs.

Dating from the early 1700s before Meissen starting using their cross swords logo is this very rare Meissen porcelain cameo vase. The applied bisque cameo features the goddess Venus looking into a mirror. In very good antique condition, the only evidence of age is wear to the gold gilt. We have not attempted to clean the vase. Measures 9 inches high, about 4.5" diameter at widest.

Our Victorian long guard watch chain is composed of an unusual and attractive love knot link. Such chains were called "long guards", and shortened to "guard chains". Watch guard link chains were generally light in weight and always over 50 inches in length. They were designed to hold watches with a dog clips and were originally worn with the chain tucked into a woman's belt with the watch attached to the chain. A most gorgeous porcelain bowl hand painted with green and pink fancy decorations around the rim of the bowl with a central vignette of two birds fluttering in a magnolia tree. The rim is edged with a mustard enamel. The condition is very good with some enamel loss in the bowl though not easily recognizable. The backside is marked Minton with a British registry mark dating to 1860. Structural condition is superb.
