A pair of antique blue-colored, controlled-bubble glass vases on ornate German silver-plate stands. In stand, each vase is 12 1/2 inches (32 cm) tall and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) wide at the top. The glass vases are in excellent condition, the holders have expected, age-appropriate tarnishing (there is a slight amount of 'give' between the vase and the holder on one vase, which is typical of these holder-based glass vases). Each metallic stand is marked, as what looks like, 'H A Jurst & Co Berlin' (s...
This is a rare applied butterfly (Marquetry) box, made by Bohemian master, Ludwig Moser, around 1885. Like typical Moser objects from that epoch, the box is unsigned. But such applied-glass-motif objects were made by Moser and Harrach in Bohemia and Thomas Webb in England (refer to Baldwin's book on Moser glass). Under black-light, the box fluoresces a gentle greenish color, so the glass blank is definitely of Bohemian origin. The box is 3 1/4 inches (8,3 cm) tall and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) wide. E...

Offered is this beautiful, tall, hand-painted glass vase - though unsigned, the quality of the artwork and the numbers on its bottom, typical of English patent number (see last picture) would strongly suggest that it was made by Thomas Webb of Stourbridge, England. Offered is this beautiful large ( 8 1/2 inches wide and 7 3/4 inches tall) vase, made most likely by Thomas Webb & Sons of Stourbridge. The vase is in excellent condition. It is unsigned. Most likely it was made by Thomas Webb, based on the following features that were typical of Thomas Webb: (1) polished pontil, with the inner casing showing through at the bottom, (2) usage of applied clear rigaree, (3) usage of uranium casing (the vase glows under black-light, showing the presence of Uranium s...

The vase is approximately 6 inches (15 cm) tall, 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) wide and 4 inches (10 cm) deep. It is in excellent condition. Unsigned. Though the vase could have been made by either of the three French art glass makers, Francois-Eugene Rousseau, Ernest-Baptiste Leveille or Eugene Michel, all three of whom made crackled art glass vases, in my opinion, the greatest lik...
