Wonderful old English tin trade piece depicting Mr Jorrocks toting his horn on horseback with his trusty hound. Quite large. Mr Jorrocks measures 28" tall by 33" long and the hound measures 7" tall by 25" long. A thin flexible metal. Has some dings, dents, frayed, bent edges and nail holes.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden studio around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/16 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is hand painted in fine detail. There are scenes of lovers in landscapes surrounded by garlands of colorful flowers. The rims are trimmed with delicate gilding. Condition: The rim of the cup has slight fading to the gilding mentioned for accuracy. It is hardly noticeable.

Wonderful brightly colored half hoop ring of the classic Victorian 5 stone design consisting of 3 emeralds and 2 amethysts.

Antique 9K gold Victorian "message" ring, "Mizpah, symbolizing a bond between two people, comes from a bible quote in the book of Genesis, "The Lord watch between thee and me, when we are absent one from another". Mizpah is the Hebrew word for "Watchtower", a pillar of stones which symbolized the covenant between Jacob and Laban. Mizpah rings were often exchanged between two people in the hope of protecting the two during a period of separation, often by war.

We love the simplicity of this claw set amethyst single cabochon stone ring, made somewhere around the turn of the century or later. The ring is hallmarked 15K and has 3 decorative notches cut on both sides of the band. The single cabochon amethyst stone is a smooth and polished clear shade of purple and perfect. A delightful bronze dresser mirror, the entire frame ornately decorated in the form of two Pierrot figures and a smiling man-in-the-moon. Pierrot was a originally a Comedia dell’Arte character, but in the 18th century, he and the moon became inextricably linked in the French children’s song, “Au Claire de la Lune.” There are a few variations of this mirror; this is the most ornate, with the intricately beveled glass.
