This is a small Ming dynasty celadon or longquan vertically ribbed jarlet.

The dimension is as follows: The height is 7.4cm and thw width is 7.4cm.

It is in good condition.. A manufacturing crack (picture 6)at the base which show through the inside of the jarlet base as well. No damanage, restoration, repair or chip. Minor abrasion and manufacturing fault.

DESCRIPTION: Nearly life-sized and in the traditional frontal pose, this painting on rice paper depicts a Chinese Qing official (mandarin) and his wife seated on elaborately carved chairs in semiformal gowns. The woman's bright red robe has an embroidered insignia that proclaims the couple's rank and status. Her feet and hands are hidden and she wears an elaborate headdress of gold and pearls...

Beautiful Chinese tomb pottery horse in two pieces, sculpted of gray clay and painted with slip, wonderful dramatic shape, expressive face with open mouth, painted with white slip, traces of orange and black slip details especially on the head and face. Han Dynasty 206 B.C. - A.D. 220. Size:16 3/4" high x 20" wide x 7" deep.

Chinese silver box, decorated with dragon and phoenix design in high relief and a jade stone mounted between them, a band of floral design in relief surrounding the base, late 19th/ early 20th century period. An interesting Chinese table separated into two sections. The six legs fold together, making the table easy to store. The fluted stripe like moulding on the table appears often with Chinese furniture from the Republic period. Age: Republic Period (c1900). Size: height 28.5" diameter 33"

A rare Chinese stationery box made of huanghuali wood,with an accessory tray made of other kind of wood, and two small ink stone inside the box. There are two layers on the bottom of the box: one is made of soft wood, the other is huanghuali wood loosely laid on inside the box. The box is dated to Qing Dynasty. Condition: minor restorations. A fine antique Chinese child's collar with stitch work and fine knitting on the edge. The shawl collar is decorated with auspicious motifs of bats, butterflies, geese, and flowers. The collar is often seen in Chinese fashion during the Qing Dynasty where women wore the collars during formal or auspicious occasions. Age: Qing-Republic Period Size: length 18.5" height 16"

Antique chinese silk had mede for a child. The hat is beautifully embroidered with peonies and chrysanthemums. There are tassles, light pink, on either side. The top of the hat has a bird with a tassle in its beak, a smaller bird sits below. Republic period.

Antique Chinese ladies shoes made of silk and embroidered with flowers and butterflies. These shoes were worn during the 19th century by someone who would have had their feet bound in the lily style. Qing Dynasty. 19th century.

The first depicting a blue bird on a lychee plant from the "Mustard Seed Garden Manual of Painting", Jieziyuan huazhuan, published in 1679 by Wang Gai. The second showing a bird on a fruiting branch, from the "Ten Bamboo Studio Manual of Calligraphy and Painting", Shizhuzai shuhua pu, published by Hu Zhengyan in the early 17th century. Chinese hand scroll portraying a hunting scene attributed to, Jin Tingbiao (~1767). Four hunters with four horses are gathered in this scene either preparing a hunting party or finishing one. Views of hunting, known as shoulie wenwutu were first seen from the Yuan dynasty and succeeding dynasties continued to paint various renditions. Comes in a beautifully carved box. Beautiful antique Chinese porcelain pair of roosters with polychrome glaze. Very nice incised detail. Created in a naturalistic style. A pair of Chinese enameled porcelain plates, having butterfly and Buddha's hand citron decoration on a turquoise ground, with six-character Jiaqing reign marks to the undersides. Size; Diameter of each plate is 6 7/8 inches and both items are in great condition with no imperfections.

A lovely Chinese hat stand featuring a pair of birds and painted in the Qianjiang style using soft pastel enamels. Qianjiang enamel paintings are getting harder to find and this one is in excellent original condition, no chips, no hairlines, no cracks. It measures 11 inches high x 4.75" diameter.

A Chinese porcelain vase decorated with flowers and butterfly and other motifs in famille rose enamel. This is a rare example which demonstrates the earliest famille rose decoration on Chinese porcelains. Early 18th century - late Kangxi to Yongzheng period. Conditions: A hairline (1") from top to the shoulder of the vase; a very tiny flake at the bottom near the foot rim. Height: 7-1/2".

A very attractive Chinese stoneware jar with a wide ribbed body. Hand crafted with a dark celadon glaze, the inside which is brown is also glazed, can hold liquids, and can be used as a vase. In excellent original condition, no cracks, no hairlines. Circa 20th Century, it measures 8” high x 8.5” diameter, mouth measures 5" across.
