Antique Chinese famille rose porcelain vase with a scene of a pair of birds over a field of lotus. A lotus leaf bends under the weight of the birds as they look through the field of lotus blossoms. The reverse bears an inscription of calligraphy. The base bears a red seal. It is attributed to Shi Yuchu. It measures 10" tall, 2.25" wide at the mouth, 2" 3/8" at base.

Beautiful pair of Chinese hardwood chairs with a dark reddish brown tone and smooth finish. It has an open back with a center support panel, carved with an auspicious Chinese design. The connected headrest and arms run along the top of the chair, with two curving vertical panels on either side. The legs of each chair are carved with squared spiral designs. Chinese antique box, carved of a beautiful golden hardwood, very heavy. Small cabinet doors open to a compartment with a small open area in the center and two rows of 3 drawers each on either side. It is carved on all sides with scrolling vines and bats. The front is minutely carved and has inlay of green and very pale green and white jade including more little bats. Republic Period (early 20th century). Size: 11" high x 16 1/2" wide x 7 1/2" deep.

Antique Chinese jadeite carving of a pair of peanuts with leaves and vines growing out of their top, and a small chimera crawling along the bottom with its legs and tails pointed upwards. Peanuts are called "huasheng" in Chinese, and are considered a lucky charm for those wishing to have many children as "sheng" means "giving birth". The top of the carving has a pierced hole to be hung from a toggle. Size: 2" length, 1" thickness

A large Chinese gongshi, or scholar rock, highly appreciated as a contemplative viewing piece by literati. The piece is formed by natural elmwood root that has been lacquered, entangling a lingbi stone, originating from the Anhui province of China. Inset within a wooden base.
