This is a very rare form for a Jade Bottle, its Cylindrical Form, and the variety of color skins that surround it and that appear to portray their own artistic rendering with splashes of Russet, brownish, light brown, black, gray, over a white-gray ground. It was probably made during the period Qing Dinasty period, 1740-1840. DESCRIPTION: A beautifully mounted Chinese roof tile of a Ming warrior seated upon a horse. The bearded soldier, his right hand on his hip, sits erect upon his amber horse which stands on the curved tile base. This earthenware tile has been decorated in a sancai glaze of predominately green and amber colors. A beautifully carved custom rosewood base has been made for this large tile, the base itself probably being over 100 years old...

A marvelous oval shaped Chinese tortoise shell box with enameling featuring a bamboo and floral pattern with auspicious symbols on a carved top and the side bands. An interior mirror under the fitted lid shows some age related wear. The tortoise shell is in excellent antique condition, no cracks and there is no visible loss to the enamel. This is a rare treasure which displays beautifully. Measures 6 inches long, 5" wide, 1.5 inches high. Circa 1880.

Circa 1880, Chinese red cinnabar circular box with stand. The box is presented on a carved wood stand having several coats of cinnabar lacquer, giving it the appearance of a solid carved cinnabar stand. Extremely well done and deeply carved, the scene depicts a well known Chinese story about Kuan Ti’s defense of Lin Bang's wife before the advance of Hsian Yu. Please note the beautifully carved horse. In excellent condition, the box including stand measures 5.5" diameter x 5.5" high...

Set of 8 Chinese porcelain plates, each decorated in Kangxi style with a peacock standing in a landscape with its tail fanned out and encircled by an elaborate band with fan and lozenge shaped vignettes of blossoming and fruiting sprigs within diaper bands. All in excellent antique condition with very little wear to the enamels. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines. Measure 8.5" diameter x 1 high.

Beautifully hand-carved snuff bottle made from peking glass, a process in which a single colored glass is dipped layer by layer into differently colored glass and then carved into delicate designs. This particular bottle has a slightly yellowish transparent main color, dipped into red glass, with carvings of beautiful flowers and leaves on vines, carried by two robed men, with intricate detailing on their clothing and faces. This old carved amber snuff bottle is a late 19th century product. On one side, it depicts a Ling Zhi (靈芝) growing from behind a rock; on the other side, there is a magical beast. It is 2" high, 1 1/2" wide at the widest part and 1" thick. It is in great condition

A Chinese mutton fat nephrite jade pendant or toggle of Budai measuring about 2 1/2" long and weighing 86g. While primarily white in color, the jade has a few random russet sections on the side and rear, and evinces under strong light a faint subtle green tint. There is a hole which is used to thread for wear. Unmarked.
