A very finely potted and finely painted blue and white vase depicting three five-clawed dragons, amongst cloud scrolls, in pursuit of flaming pearls and above stylized breaking waves. The base carries the six character seal mark of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795) but, after three years deliberation, we have come to the conclusion that this item was probably made later, circa 1880-1920, during the late Qing or early Republic periods...

Set of 3 “Socialist Kitsch”, porcelain brush pots with green Jingdezhen “China” marks inside the “bi” shaped footrims, circa 1960s-1970s. These all have the same mark and same dimensions H: 12cm/4.8in and D: 8.4cm/3.2in. Relatively good Jingdezhen quality porcelain, and simple polychrome decorations with revolutionary slogans. These were meant for mass consumption but amazingly little of it remains today...

A rare, very decorative, Celadon glazed Alms Bowl, 18th - 19th century with its original wooden stand. Very nice Celadon glaze. The rim of the bowl covered with a dark brown wash, the unglazed footring covered with a pale brown wash. Diameter : 23,8 cm. H : without wooden stand : 13,5 cm ( With wooden stand : 22 cm. ) Condition : The bowl in perfect condition. The old wooden stand broken and re - glued.

Antique Chinese porcelain snuff bottle with cylindrical form, decorated with a scene of a water dragon in waves. Intricate and fine line details and expressive movement in the dragon and in the watery background. The dragon is painted in iron-red glaze and the waves in blue. The tall, white glazed neck is topped with a small jade lid. The long spoon is made of bone.

A rare Ming dynasty 17th century Dehua Blanc de Chine figure of Guanyin, Long nu and Shan cai, covered with good milky white glaze, good condition with one of the ornament on the back has been missing, figure in good condition please see picture for detail, size: 25 cm height.

Chenghua (1465 - 87) minyao ( peoplesware ) bowl. This nice piece bears the " tian " ( heaven ) mark on its base, which is normally to find also on later imperial pieces of the Chenghua periode ! Please look the photos closely to examine the condition. ( nice blue and nice glaze and one nearly not visible short hairline ) Diameter : 5,5 inc.

 

This piece had been imported to Japan in 14th century by "Tenryu-ji ship", and so called "天龍寺青磁 Tenryu-ji celadon" in Japan. It has peony pattern carved at the inner and outside surface, and fretwork pattern at the inner rim. Certification: by Noriki Shimazu the famous researcher with Asian antiques in Japan. Extremely nice Ming dynasty Yongle period ( 1403 - 1424 ) blue and white bowl. Well potted porcelain body with a wonderful cobalt blue. Very good condition - there is only a very short nearly not visiable hairline to the rim ( please look closeup ) D : 4,85 inc.
