This bowl is unique and exceptional in the sensivity of its painting which to some extent echoes the decoration of the very rare and highly admired Kangxi Imperial Mark and Period "Birds-Bowls". Underglaze blue six character Kangxi Mark, but 19th. century. One of the most beautiful "Kangxi-revival" bowls ever seen. A quite large bowl, thinly potted and brightly enameled. ( Famille -Verte ). Covered with a thick glaze of green tone. 2 firing cracks on the rim, 2 chips/crack on the base, hairline 9.5 cm in the center. In the center has a floral carved, the exterior freely carved with stylised foliate scrolls. Nice "Ping" sound when tapping on it. Good condition.

An interesting Chinese porcelain spoon heavily decorated in bright famille rose enamels, principally blue, green and puce inset with an Urdu inscription to the centre of the bowl indicating that it formed part of a service made for the Nawab Feizsalar and Begum Sahibe in 1824. Shop mark to the underside of the bowl in underglaze blue. In good condition, some minute rim frits, no cracks, chips or restoration. It measures 11.7cm in length.
