Another substantial Roman silver seal ring with a red carnelian intaglio, 1st.-3rd. cent AD

The ring a typical compressed Roman design and the carnelian stone engraved with a depiction of the Dioskouroi.

Size: c. 24 mm. wide and weighing 8.1 grams. The ring-size is c. 19 mm. x 16 mm., so it fits the typical ring-finger of a smaller male or a female hand.

Condition: Very fine, intact, but the stone was reset and there's chips to the silver-setting...

A very rare, quite large 10th century Tang Dynasty bowl. The porcelain body of the bowl covered with a nice yellowish green glaze. Diameter : 16,3 cm. H : 6 cm. Condition : Perfect, very nice " Ping " tone when tapped.

Beautiful Ghandaran modeled stucco head. This artifact is from the McCloud collection. Ghandara refers to the Peshawar valley and some parts of Afghanistan and Pakistan. This region was heavily influenced by greco-roman style as a result of Alexander the Great's campaign in the far east. The facial features are more european with almond shaped eyes and a bow shaped mouth...

A very attractive tall pottery figure of a standing female or deity, Magna Grecia, ca. 3rd. century BC.

The figure is standing with a slight bend in her left knee and one arm above her head perhaps correcting her large headress. She is veiled and clad in elegant garments.

Condition: Superb for type, intact with remnants of white pigments.

A large greek terracotta figure of a high born Lady standing on a high base, Greek/South Italy, 4th-3rd century B.C.

The bust depicts a lady with a fine gown swept on and she holds it with her right hand. The left hand carries something over her right shoulder. She wears a large headress or crown.

Size: 24 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice and completely intact with remains of pigment and patina.
