This elaborate silver Miao headband would be worn by a woman for festival. First a piece of fabric would be tied around the womans head to protect her from the sharp edges of the metal. The headband would make a soft pleasing sound as the woman moved her head. The man on horseback and flowers are a reference to the Miao myth of bringing light into the world. The headband is approx 20 inches long.

Channel the glamour of Mad Men in this real vintage cocktail ring. Exquisitely executed in 14 karat white gold, the ring features 14 old-mine cut diamonds surrounding an approximately 6 carat emerald cut deep velvet green tourmaline. The center stone measures 9.6 x 14 mm and the weight of the diamonds totals .55 carats. Some of the brilliant stones have minor nicks but, overall, this 1960’s beauty is in excellent condition. Description: A brick oil-lamp was preserved finely. In cylindrical shape and with a hollowed-out cover, the oil lamp was in decent look when radiating out the ancient light. A Chinese character “Fu”-Good Fortune was intriguingly carved within the pattern of the hollowed cover. By an enduring old patina, the oil lamp was in perfect condition and can be used in a practical way. Date: 19th century. Height: 16.5cm, Width of the base: 16cm.

Outstanding ,handmade, WIDE 7 band sterling bracelet by Navajo jeweler Allen Kee during his work at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale,Arizona. It is 5" around in the inside with a 1" opening and it is 2 3/8" wide. Beautiful incised lines complete the terminals. It weighs 63 grams and is in fine original condition. Signed as shown with the White Hogan Shop mark Handmade Sterling and AK for Allen Kee. Other bracelets like this that I have seen have only had 5 bands. This one is very special.

Like an aged boxer, the squat muscular crab takes a stance of readiness, one claw up prepared to defend against a coming attacker. This little fellow is unusual in that it is made of thick bronze, with each joint pinned in a way that allows for some mobility. Legs splayed the creature is 9 inches (23 cm) wide, standing it is 3-1/2 inches 89 cm) tall. There is a repair to the first joint of the 2nd left leg. It dates from the first part of the 20th century.
