An unusual Meiji period bronze image of the jolly Daikoku-ten, one of the 7 gods of fortune, looking incredibly relaxed and content. His hat is removable to reveal a chamber for burning incense, and the smoke would be exhaled though his open mouth. It is 6-1/2 x 8 x 5-1/2 inches 16.5 x 20 x 14 cm) and is in overall fine, original condition. The artist chop is in a raised cartouche on the base and appears to read Yoshioka Minpo.

Small Indian Hindu bronze group cast in one piece depicting Vishnu seated in lalitasana with his consort Lakshmi, holding a lotus bud. Condition: fine, few traces of usage. Dimension: 11.1 cm high.

This lovely Quan Yin standing figure measures 13 3/4", and is leaning slightly forward and to her right, her right hand holding a Ruyi scepter, her left hand holding the edge of her robe. Comprised of red lacquer over wood, her robe is rimmed with a wide hem that is decorated with applied lacquer details, and the fabric of the robe is lightly textured with fine curved lines. Description: A black-glazed water dropper was from famous Ding kiln.
Characteristically the body clay revealed was in dense and greasy feel quality.
It was kept in perfect condition when some incursion was found on the surface.
