A Cizhou black-glazed Yuhuchun vase was beautifully decorated with spiral flowers on the body.
By a fine shape and well preserved condition, the vase was verified as a dated piece by the characteristics of the padding residue left at the foot ring and the enduring old russet glaze.
Some burial adhesives were observed.
And some stardust-like incursions had happened to the glaze, under the flaring lip of the mouth rim...
Hotei bows deeply, showing an unusual moment of respect from the surly sage. An unusual bronze image by Oshima Joun enclosed in the signed wooden box. Wild roses blossom on the rich tea green sides of this cloisonné vase by the Ando studio enclosed in a custom silk lined padded wooden box with a separate compartment for the rose wood stand (included). The base color is that of maccha green tea, making it doubly Japanese. Each leaf, each thorn each petal is wrapped in a thin silver wire frame. The vase is roughly 10 inches (25 cm) tall and in excellent condition.

Description: A Yueyao covered jar was rarely found with dated inscription of The 25th Year of Saoxing period(AD1155). By a fine pale-green glaze applied all over the surface, the jar was fitted with an interesting cap which imitating the roof of a Chinese building. Other motifs were those like the counting scale by the Chinese characters and the Chinese couplets of –“ The Warehouse is always full, The Selling Store is always open”. Rested on a fitted boxwood stand from which the patina was in warm old condition and was preserved with the dirt residue due to age, this piece was in perfect condition. A black-glazed Jizhou bowl was preserved in a fine condition.
By a beautiful grayish image of freely painted plum branch in the cavetto against the black ground, the tea bowl was mold in a typical Wan shape when standing by a flat foot ring which was a strong characteristic for a Jizhou bowl.
The buff-tinted soft-feel paste revealed at the bottom was another obvious characteristic for this dated ware.

A nicely carved natural amber pendant of the hand of Buddha citron with a hole at the top so it can be worn as a pendant. The citron fruit may be given as a religious offering in Buddhist temples. According to tradition, Buddha prefers the "fingers" of the fruit to be in a position where they resemble a closed rather than open hand, as closed hands symbolize to Buddha the act of prayer. Description: A Ming Longquan Li-typed censer was kept in very fine condition. Well mold and heavily glazed, the tripod censer was in typical lake-green tint when whitish ridges were on the body along everted feet. Charming crackles, pinpoints condition and darken hue in portions verified it a true old piece. Brownish red was obvious in the center of the cavetto where the body clay was revealed.

This antique shield is an artifact from the Dutch War with the Atjeh (now Aceh). In short, the Dutch colonial government considered Indonesia "theirs". This small oil lamp has a floral motif cloisonne base and glass globe. An artifact of the Qing dynasty, this style lamp was often referred to as an opium lamp, presummably because of their use in the opium dens of that period.
At 3.5 inches high, it is in good condition with no dents and no losses.
