This subtle, yet impressive mizusashi is by modern Karatsu legend; Nakazato Takeshi (b. 1937). Wangata style teabowl with fluid dark and light cobalt decoration decorating the exterior of the chawan. Showing both Seto and Annam styles, this chawan by Nakajima Mokusen (b. 1955) has a very poetic appearance and is a very functional teabowl.

Matte colors in olive and silver coat the fiddle head fronds sprouting from this clump of clay studded with mysterious orbs by Masatomo Toi from his germination series of ceramic sculptures.
