Dozens of photographs of his work dating from the height of his fame as an avante Garde sculptor fill this 100 page book titled Simply “Yagi Kazuo”. The book comes in the original cover which is held inside a cardboard sleeve. The ends of the cover not encased in cardboard have yellowed some with age, but this does not affect the book within.

A Large natsu-wan by chadogu specialist; Kamiya Eisuke. This teabowl is glazed in a rich yohen-tetsu-yu glaze that runs from rusty red tones at the lip to hare’s fur and glassy black drips in the mikomi and near the kodai with much of the glaze being infused with iron crystals trapped within the glaze. It is 4 inches (10 cm) square, 9-1/2 inches (24 cm) tall and in excellent condition. Rich and bold yuteki-temmoku chawan with phenomenal color and contrasting "partridge feather style oilspots. The exterior at the foot features a wonderful glaze roll that is caught forever in motion.

A mesh of copper draperies hang over the dark black of this unusually shaped Tsubo by Tenmoku specialist Kimura Moriyasu enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Shoju Tenmoku Henko. Shoju Tenmoku, literally Pine-Needle-Tenmoku, is a glaze technique where the effect joins in a mesh like pine needles overlapping, very difficult to pull off, but here Moriyasu has done it masterfully. The vessel is 30.5 cm (12 inches) tall, 19 x 16 cm (7-1/2 x 6 inches) and is in excellent condition.
A dark charred Chosen Karatsu kamahen Mimitsuku Mizusashi by Nishioka Koju (b. 1918) enclosed in the original signed wooden box. All is deeply coated in thick burnt ash. Red shows through rivulets of dark olive burnt to the side of the body. The raw clay is visible through the thick ash drips on one side. The vase is 16 by 13 inches (40 by 33 cm) across, 11 inches (28 cm) tall and in excellent condition.
