Higuchi is well known for his tactile tabi-chawan in Oribe and Shino glazes and is published in numerous magazines and publications.

Hi-dasuki lines of red charring streak across the surface of this large Tokkuri Vase by Isezaki Mitsuru (b. 1934) enclosed in the original signed wooden box.
