A very fine lapis plaque (Afghan quality) with beautiful even violetish-blue color set in a 14K gold mounting. The stone is held in place by gold scrolls reminiscent of cresting waves. The same design follows down the side of the shank. Afghan lapis has no eye-visible white calcite spots, but may have some sparkly pyrite, and is the highest quality level. The interior of the shank is stamped “14K China” and has an unknown maker’s mark...

Matched set of three stackable rings, all in 18K yellow gold, all stamped 750, size 6 3/4 (sizeable by a competent jeweler). All three rings have a diagonal etched pattern, going all the way around on the two plain gold rings and about 2/3 around the gold and ruby ring. This great charm / pendant tells the story of the old nursery rhyme, "There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. She had so many children she didn't know what to do." The charm is 3 dimensional and depicts a "shoe house." The detail is great (better than photo).
