A lovely late Victorian 18K gold locket enhanced with ornate pierced arabesques and pearl-studded laurel wreaths. The pearls have particularly nice color and luster. The cover opens to reveal a glass-enclosed compartment for a portrait or other keepsake. A small piece of cloth soaked in perfume could have been added behind the pierced cover to provide a bit of relief from the smelly Parisian streets of the 1800s. This size 7-1/4 or 7.25 ring probably dates to the 1980s or 1990s and it features a cushion cut dark blue genuine sapphire surrounded by 12 small diamonds which are the centre of small flowers. The sapphire is 1.1 carats (calculated) and the diamonds are single point. This ring weighs 3.6 grams, it is stamped 10Ct with a manufacture mark. This piece is stunning! Some marriages are made in Heaven, and this is one. This brooch is a marriage of three Victorian elements: the bar pin with six diamonds, the enamel bow, and the heart-shaped enamel slide. The bow and slide appear to have been part of the same piece. The pin is 12 k gold, and the bow and slide 18 k. The bar pin is 1 3/4" long.

A 3/4" late Victorian gold filled windowed pendant and 18" fine link gold filled chain with springring catch c1900, containing authentic gold nuggets. The two windows on the locket show the gold from both sides; the nuggets weigh 0.8 grams. Sterling over 18K diamond floral spray brooch from the mid-19th C. This lovely three dimensional brooch has a prong set Old Mine Cut center stone and numerous rose cut diamonds of varying sizes throughout. Brooch measures 2 3/8" long and 3/4" wide (at widest). The back of the brooch is yellow gold with a trombone clasp. There appears to be a very small repair spot on the back of the brooch (just found on close inspection), otherwise excellent condition...

A fine shakudo stickpin mounted in 18K yellow gold enhanced with a ropetwist border. The shakudo plaque represents a geisha formally dressed in a gold-flowered kimono and with an elaborate hairdo complete with ribbons and blossoms. Shakudo elements such as these were transformed by European and American jewelers after the opening of Japan to Western trade in the 1850s. The mounting is 18K (tested and guaranteed) and the pinstem is 14K (marked).

Mixed metals(rose and white 14k gold) period retro earrings, c.1948. Wonderfully designed, each rose gold screwback earring is punctuated with 12 white gold dots adding dimension and color.
