A lovely vintage 18K yellow gold and diamond ring by Boucheron. The top of the band has a quilted ("matelassé) pattern accented with crossed bands set with brilliant round-cut diamonds (E/VVS2). The setting is heavy and quite comfortable to wear. The interior of the shank is signed “Boucheron” and is marked “Or 750 / 885513912”. The outside of the shank is stamped with the “tete d’aigle” mark and with Boucheron’s maker’s mark.

This 14Kt two tone gold and diamond ring is from the 1930’s. A very good quality 0.28Ct brilliant cut solitaire diamond is set in a white gold six prong setting that holds the diamond with a yellow gold shank. The diamond has G color and VS1 clarity. A wonderfully designed and crafted pair of hanging pave diamond earrings, set with 300 full-cut diamonds, with the approximate total weight of 3.25Ct. The top of the earrings are round half domes with a post in the back. The elongated tear drop shaped bottom parts move, and give the diamonds even more sparkle. The setting is 14Kt yellow gold with openwork in the back. The total length of the earrings is 1 5/8”.

A lovely 18K yellow and white gold, ruby and enamel love pendant (“medaille d’amour”) with a rebus spelling out Plus qu’hier, moins que demain,” (“More than yesterday, less than tomorrow.”) a line from the love poem written by Rosemonde Gérard to her husband Edmond Rostand (author of “Cyrano”) in 1889. This pretty stickpin is made of (stamped) 14kt white gold and is set with an unidentified colorless gemstone - not diamond or one of the common substitutes for diamond. Not glass or plastic - it's a real stone. Also a real mystery. Whatever it is, it's a perfect complement to the setting. There is an illegible maker's mark. Overall length is 2 3/8" and it’s C. 1915. An original Retro period, amethyst and diamond ring is set in 14Kt yellow gold. The 18 X 10 millimeter oval cabochon amethyst is prong set and is further enhanced by 3 single-cut diamonds set on top of the solid shank that spits into three on one side of the ring. The shank of the ring is 5 millimeter on the solid side, 3 millimeter on the bottom and 9 millimeter on the split side. The ring is a size 6 ¼ and can be sized.

An interesting pendant- a taxidermy eye set in 14K gold. Pendant measures 1" long and 5/8" at the widest. Marked 585 for the gold and what looks like 31. Currently suspended on a gold colored intricate chain that measures 20" long and has a secure spring closure. Looks very hand made. Fun mid century modernist design.

Subtle rose gold setting that has a rope detail surrounding a beautiful salmon colored cabochon. From the outside edge of the rope setting, the face of the ring measures approximately 16 mm in diameter. The coral cabochon measures approximately 12 mm in diameter. It is in excellent condition and is a size 8.5. It is unmarked but has tested as 14k.

Our C1790 ring is an 18th century glass intaglio of an ancient signed gem depicting the head of a laughing satyr, or faun (a young satyr). Such carvings were called Tassies (explained further down). "Gems" in this case refers not to precious stones, but to ancient classical Greek carvings, highly valued miniature works of art. Antique yellow gold engraved necklace chain, watch chain, or possibly a muff chain. Circa 1870. Not marked but all elements including end pieces test positive for 14KT gold using jeweler's acid. Very substantial at 37 grams. With thick links alternating between smooth links and heavily engraved links. Also with a swivel clasp piece on one end, and a gold ring on the other end. There probably was another element to the original clasp or fastener, now lost...
