This brooch features an ancient Celtic design: two birds (probably swans) with enameled wings, bodies and eyes, with interlaced silver above and below. The enamel is in red, blue, green, and white. These mid-century earrings are composed of rectangular and concave gilded sterling silver plaques enameled in a deep blue with a linear design under the glaze. The blue shows much brighter than in the images and more of a contrast with the two raised ridges of gilded sterling that decorate the center. They are secured by screw backs in good working order, and are signed Balle 925 for Øystein Balle of Norway. They measure 1 inch long by 3/4 inch wide. Weight: 10.1 grams

A beautifully made sterling bracelet of concave tear drop shaped links by Danish Modernist Bent Knudsen. The bracelet clasp has one of his ingenious screw bolt clasps. Measuring 7 1/2" end to end, it is 5/8" wide and weighs 75 grams. Fine original condition and signed and numbered as shown. A wonderful Danish Modernist design.

Of an organic design, with a concave disc bearing a group of applied spore-like elements. The finish exhibits a volcanic iridescence. The band is of graduated width, and is well-marked for Helsinki, Finland, sterling silver and the date symbol for 1971 in an impressed rectangle. A second rectangular mark reads E. Granit Co. Design Jewellery. The top measures 1 inch by 7/8 inch. The ring is sized at about a 5 ¼. Weight: 9.5 grams

Silver pendant and chain by Karl Laine, Finnfeelings, one of his Spider Web designs from around 1970. Mark for Finnfeelings, 925H, A for the town of Åbo / Turku, T7 for 1972 and Swedish import mark (three crowns and S). Diameter "1 2/5 / 3.3 cm, length of chain "24 ½ / 62 cm. Condition: fine.

A modernist pair of pierced earrings in sterling silver, Calliope, designed by Zoltan Popovits for Lapponia Finland in 1978. These earrings feature an organic plant like design. The polished edges are in contrast to the textured surfaces.

They measures about 1 1/2" long and about 3/8" at the widest.

They are marked Lapponia, 925 and what looks like the town mark for Helsinki on the backs. The clutches are marked the same way. They hold securely.

This sterling silver ring features a ‘taco’-like folded design with a zigzag band inside sitting on its edge. The inside of the folded piece has been deeply oxidized with a translucent finish. The ring exhibits various kinds of tool marks. The ring is possibly Norwegian, with a mark of 925S inside the band; there are also maker’s initials of JPC, possibly for Danish silversmith Jens Peter Clausen of Copenhagen (1973-1981). A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch by Anton Michelsen, from Denmark. This three dimensional brooch has a raised 'sun' in the center surrounded by 7 stars.

Measures 2 5/8" across and 2 5/8" high. Weighs 20 gr. The surfaces of the stars and the center of the sun have a light gold wash for an interesting effect.
