Although the work resembles that of Vermont painter Earl A. Titus (1895-1962), the signature does not correspond with how he signed. So we have a mystery work here...

The subject is a lobster or similar crustacean at right, and at left another creature with a dinosaur-like head appears to be clutching a banana-shaped object. Moldovan was born in Vienna and died there before age 60...
