A vintage, circa 1940 lithograph print of a man's head, pencil signed at lower right margin "Barsick" and "imp." appears in pencil at lower center (meaning, artist printed it himself/herself). I do not see an obvious listed artist with which this signature might correspond. The piece measures 13 1/4" by 10 1/4" inside the mat and 17 1/2" by 14 3/4" in simple black strip frame. There is significant heavy foxing in the margins which could be minimized with new mat...

A large oil mixed with sand painting on canvas, signed on reverse by artist "Durrant", titled there "Rombosity" and dated there 1965. This is an unusually large work by the noted English modernist artist ROY TURNER DURRANT (1925-1998), works of whom sell with some regularity in the United Kingdom. Paint is very thickly applied and is wrinkled in some areas. The work measures an impressive 46" by 33 1/4"...

PAIR of oil on canvas paintings, each 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" as framed, both signed "Verne", the subjects both still lifes of flowers in table top vessels. A circa 1940's restrike print of the popular ice skating scene from "American Winter Scenes" series, measuring 17" by 23 3/4" inside the mat and 23 3/4" by 30 1/2" framed. The title was evidently cut off from central bottom portion at one point and was then affixed to reverse side. Coloring is in the print most likely and not hand coloring. Retains old brown framer's label of "The Brown Shop", a mid-century Pasadena, California art and frame shop...
