A rare print by surrealist print maker Ozaku Seishi, professor emeritus from Tama Art University. He is best known for small edition etchings, usually up to 30 copies, limitless experimentation with printing techniques and surrealist, often graphic imagery resembling distorted reality ¬neither quite explicit nor quite horror, but rendering a fairly dark version of dreams.

Oil on canvas laid on board, 3 1/4" by 5 3/4", 6 1/2" by 8 3/4" framed, this work is almost a miniature. The subject is typical Texas: a dirt road winding into the distance in a country landscape, trees at the right. I would be tempted to say this is a typical "bluebonnet painting", featuring the famous wildflower display that anyone who has been in Texas in the spring will recall with fondness; but the signature at lower left "GOFF" is very interesting...

An extensive landscape with picturesque castle ruins at left on a leafy Arcadian glen overlooking a lake and distant mountains, unsigned, 16" by 24" (25" by 32 1/2" in wide gold frame), presenting at first a Hudson River School appearance, but perhaps more likely by an English or Scottish artist, or by a period American artist imitating an English style and scenery. Jasper Francis Cropsey painted similarly (but I am not suggesting that this is his work)...

Italian Travertine Pedestal Circa 1980 in a modernist design measuring 34” height and 12” x 12” top (Berlin Adler)
A PAIR of oil on canvasboard paintings, each 20" by 24", signed at lower right by the same artist, "McKee", the subjects a rural farm in autumn, the other an eerily empty Hopperesque old house. These were found in Southern California and the scenes may well be Californian. There are a number of artists by the name McKee so it is difficult to determine who may have created these...
