Arthur J. T. Briscoe, British, 1873-1943, "Casting Her Off". This 1927 marine etching by the British printmaker Arthur Briscoe measures 9 7/8 x 15 7/8 inches, hand signed in inked and editioned as 58/75. Briscoe studied at the Slade Art School and the Academy Julian in Paris and then spent the rest of his time sailing, becoming one of the most prominent British marine artists of the 20th century. He owned his own three ton cutter which he used to sail around the Essex coast...

A color poster "Fragments", 1985, hand signed in marker at bottom by the noted California sculptor of human figures, ROBERT GRAHAM (1938-2008). The piece measuring 38 1/2" by 20 1/2" is very clean and fresh. Graham was born in Mexico City where as a youngster he was exposed to the great mural art of Mexico. By the early 1950's he was in California, studying in the 1960's in the San Francisco Bay area...

Original etching by Raphael Soyer, USA, born in Russia, 1899-1987). This work is signed by the artist lower right, numbered from an edition of 85, and is titled "Pedestrians". It could be described as a self portrait of the artist in a crowd of New York pedestrians. Framed.
