The prints show slight evidence of the edges perhaps being slightly trimmed, and there are some light scratches and small losses at extreme edges on one print as shown...

At first glance this appears to be a 17th century Dutch landscape oil on panel by someone like Ruisdael, Hobbema, Cuyp, Van Goyen, or other famous artists of that time and place. Closer examination reveals that this is actually a late 20th century work in that style, signed at lower right by artist J M GRISWOLD. I do not see information on the artist but he or she was clearly familiar with 17th century Dutch art...

A Fine Watercolor by the Listed Artist, Ignatz Sahula-Dycke (1900-82). Measures about 17 1/2" by 14 1/2" matte opening, overall about 25" by 22". Signed lower right. Sahula-Dycke has written something above his signature that I can not read, below his signature is lightly written "Phoenix 1940 Arizona".

Oil on masonite, circa late 1940's or early 1950's, 16 1/2" by 23 1/2" (22" by 31 1/2" as framed), signed at lower left by Pittsburgh artist PERRY DAVIS. This is a beautifully painted work by an obviously talented artist, although I have not to date found a listing on him. There's a label on the reverse of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, 37th Annual Exhibition with the title, and artist's address. The painting has a strong WPA feeling to it...

An old watercolor painting of the Piazza San Marco in Venice, Italy, signed at lower left by the noted artist VITTORE ZANETTI-ZILLA (1869-1946). Measurements are 9 1/2" by 13 1/4" (14 3/4" by 18 1/2" as framed). The artist studied in Venice and in his mid twenties traveled through Europe, which had an effect on his style. He exhibited at Munich in 1893 and in Buenos Aires in 1910. After World War I, the artist remained in Milano. Solo exhibitions of his work took place in 1918 and 1920...

Mortimer Menpes, English, 1860-1938, "Interior of St Maclou, Rouen". This etching by Mortimer Menpes measures 12 3/8 x 6 3/8 inches, pencil signed, c. 1902, edition of 50, looking towards the Gothic Baldachin. Menpes attended the School of Art in London in 1878 and started exhibiting at the Royal Academy in 1880. He became a major figure in the etching revival, producing more than seven hundred different etchings and drypoints, which he usually printed himself.

Scarce and interesting pencil drawing with some white highlights, on heavy paper, 15" by 20", of one of Quebec's most famous sights, "The Falls of Montmorency/Near Quebec".
