A bowl, made in imitation of late Qing Imperial style, with two roundels - one depicting a five clawed Dragon and the other a Phoenix - both separated by two iron red bats and above stylized breaking waves. The base carries what is probably the factory mark which, in Pinyin, reads "Jiu Jiang Hui Kang Chu Pin". This item was made in China in the 1940s during the late Republic period. An unframed old watercolor painting of tall trees in a Japanese forest, 19 1/2" by 13", signed at lower right by listed artist TOKUSABURO KOBAYASHI (1884-1949). There is old Japanese yellowed newspaper from THE HOCHI SHIMBUN used as cushioning between the watercolor paper and the old wood backing panel. Kobayashi was active in the first part of the century as a watercolorist. Frame with archival materials to enjoy this fine watercolor of a (cedar?) forest.

George V sterling silver and pink guilloche enamel vanity set. Made by Charles S. Green & Co., Ltd in Birmingham in 1927-8. This set comprises 4 pieces: Hand mirror, hairbrush, clothes brush, and button hook. Mirror and hairbrush have armorial backs and tapering and fluted silver handles with vasiform finials. Button hook handle tapering. Clothes brush tubular. Enamel has wavy and radiating pattern with leafing scroll borders and pendant garlands.

A hexagonal faceted gourd shaped vase decorated in a style not often found in traditional Kutani ware, but more so in traditional Japanese kinrande style porcelains. The vase is decorated in auspicious motifs. The top area of the gourd contains stylized characters of the word, "eternal longevity".Age: Showa Period Size: Diameter 7" Height 11.5"

Large three-legged stoneware dish of asymmetrical shape with a carved and enameled non-figural motif in yellow, blue, red and green on white. The three legs articulated in white against a black background. 1950's, unsigned, in the style of Kostanda, Rivier, Fidler or Derval. Width "12/ 30 cm, height "2¾/ 7 cm. Condition: two of the legs restuck (cf. last photo).

Fine Chinese Cloisonne 5 Claw Dragon Tea caddy Stash container humidor. Beautiful jar with great detail no damage unmarked , very heavy gilt bronze and the lid with a slight turn sealed the jar when held upside down lid stays on. This is a great piece for tobacco or Flower bud . Large d 3.75" h 3.5". Period is unknown but it came from an old estate so its got some age.

This is an attractive cloisonne vase from Ando. The enamel work and shading are finely done. The form and colors are rare. The vase stands 6 inches tall. There is a bit of hard to see crazing. This can be seen in the images and actually shows up more in the image than in person. It was made with silver rims and was probably made in the 1930's. This is a very nice display piece.
