Charming Chinese enameled, semi-egg shell porcelain vase; of ovoid form decorated with a continuous scene of boys at play in a garden, one costumed as a tiger; seal mark, possibly Republic/Minguo Period. Size; Height of vase is 10 3/4 inches, in very good condition.
Wonderfully life-like box in the form of a turtle, made of painted porcelain, the shell lifts off as the lid of the box, the turtle raises his head with a slight smile, great attention to detail, Chinese, early 20th century.

A man's woolen coat from the Pashtun Mangal tribe. Made from a locally handwoven patti cloth, these coats are decorated with woolen embroidery, in branching patterns. Tsugaru kogin kimono made of vegetable indigo dye hemp whose warps and wefts are hand plied. It is made in Tsugaru region in Aomori prefecture in Tohoku district. Kogin-sashi is one kind of needlework (sashiko), stitches with white cotton yarn go horizontally and make geometrical patterns. It makes the hemp kimono warm with thick kogin in the cold district like Aomori, where it is hard to cultivate cotton. It has thin indigo dye cotton lining and sashiko in the lower body too...
Fine Japanese cloisonne box and tray by Ando of Nagoya. The Ando company, established in Nagoya in 1880, is the only cloisonne remaining workshop in Japan originating from the Meiji period (1868 - 1912) that is still active in the creation of cloisonne enamels. They retain the highly esteemed distinction of being appointed by the Imperial Household.

This is a superior example of the celebrated (Milan Triennale 1951) Jäkälä (Lichen/Sormivaarsi (Finger) vase 3515. Produced 1950-1964. On the underside is etched Tapio Wirkkala 3515. It measures 8 1/2" (21.5cm). Mint condition.
Exceptional pair of African wood carvings from the Nyamwezi tribes of Central Tanzania, the larger measuring 40 1/2" high, including stand, which is 6" x 6" square and about 1 1/2" high..
Both are carved of heavy dense wood, and the forms slightly vary due to the natural shape of the tree trunk or branch from which they were carved.
They have inset white bead eyes, which is typical, especially in early figures.

Edwardian sterling silver gravy boat. Made by S. Kirk & Son in Baltimore, ca 1940. Ovoid with helmet mouth and raised oval foot; dense floral repousse on stippled ground. Cast leaf-capped and -mounted high-looping handle with low-relief flowers. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1932-61), no. 278F, and phrase “Hand Decorated”. Very good condition.

Simple yet elegant sobriquet seal utilizing a Chinese stone similar to chicken blood stone. The seal contains an inscription which translates as: The seal was carved on an auspicious day in December of 1958 (for) Fujiwara Gyokuun. The carved bottom of the seal contains a three character text reading: Kingensen, or The well where gold can be found. Size: height 1.75" width 0.5" length 1.25"
This very well carved fisherman is 10” high (11 ¼” high with base), 2 1/2” wide and 1 3/4” in depth. It is a middle 20th century product. The long bearded, smiling fisherman wears an old style top and pants. His right hand is holding a long bamboo fishing pole; his left hand is holding two fish on a string. The carved wood base is a replacement. It is in excellent condition.

Sterling silver water pitcher by Tiffany circa 1930. Simple, elegant design with an "AD" monogrammed on the front. It measures approximately 8" tall and from handle to spout measures approximately 7.5". It says on the bottom, it holds 4.25 pints.
The marking on the bottom says: "TIFFANY & Co, 16974 MAKERS 8391, STERLING SILVER, 925-1000, M" It is in good condition, and the overall weight is 2 lbs.
