A “Seaweed” bowl by Vicke Lindstrand (1904 – 1983). The Seaweed series with its streaks of mainly green and black uses the variation of Graal glass called Mykene, developed by V.L. while he was still working for Orrefors in the 1930s. A fine Ordos civilization cast bronze belt plaque, modelled in the shape of a reclining ibex, portrayed facing left with its head looking straight. Lumiere Collection From the extensive collection of chamber sticks and chamber lamps acquired over a forty year period by Peter Macdonald. This candle holder is a nautilus form faience candle holder from Malicorne-sur-Sarthe, France, a town in the region of Pays de la Loire famous for its decorative ceramics and stoneware. A rival and complement to the nearby Quimper factory, many of the designs are similar in form. This piece is likely from the early to mid-20th century.

Exceptional and rare bronze art nouveau chamber stick with match holder, blossoming flower motifs. Illustrated in the publication, "The Flowering of Art Nouveau," p.321-322, 426, 428.

Circa 1920sEichwald majolica centerpiece with a lion head on the base. Large and colorful, this blue bowl with a golden yellow interior is relief decorated on the exterior with small raspberry red flowers, light green tendrils, and paisley shaped pink medallions. Other colors are lavender, and golden brown. A fabulous statement piece. Marked" Eichwald" and "Czechoslovakia", it measures 15" high, 12ʺ long × 8.25ʺ wide.

Cotton cloth which used to be obi (sash) for a casual kimono. It has hand-drawn tsutsugaki design. It was "Nagoya obi" which was invented in early 20th century to make it easier to tie in the traditional style. In good condition but has folded line in the center (about a half length ) and some stains in the back. Mid 20th century. 32.5cm x 4m28cm

Vintage Chinese Vietnamese Rosewood and Mother of Pearl box, gorgeous mother of pearl inlay and engraving of a pagoda in a tropical background the corners have a Chinese auspicious symbol. Great condition no losses scratches or scuffs and all inlay is in place there is shrinkage to the lid making it sit slightly off set see images. Size 5.5"3.25" by H 2".

An unsigned Moser style cordial standing 6 inches high. The colorless 4 3/4 inch tall stem is topped by a 1 1/4 inch tall cup decorated with 2 blue marquetry plums and engraved leaves and stems in green. There is no pontil mark and the cordial is perfect.

Small lacquered wooden box in the shape of an eggplant. Top of the fruit near the leaves painted with silver pigments. Interior painted with gold pigments, signature in the center partly erased: ka?e (か?エ). Transport box included.

Inspired the works of Iizuka Rokansai, this open weave basket with richly toned dark red-brown split bamboo has a slightly tapering cylindrical body with an offset loop handle at the top. Signed with an incised signature on the bottom. Comes with a bamboo water container. Dates late 20th century. Measures 8” high including handle, 4.74” diameter. This basket had a very nice sheen to it that is not being captured by the photos. You will be pleased.
