A Chinese Yixing Teapot, Late Qing/Republic. Length approximately 9.9 cm and height approximately 7.3 cm. The teapot has been repaired inside the cover, has soft small chips inside the cover and has a small chip around 3 mm at the tipspout. Good condition. More photos contact us.

Early 20th C. Chinese gold over silver bracelet with colorful natural gem stones and open works in it's excellent condition. inner D:2-1/8"(5.2cm) Signed.

Lovely antique silk Chinese panel embroidered with metallic wires framing flowers and butterflies in jewel tones of purple, blue, raspberry, and gold, natural linen backing, black silk border, easily opens to make a pillow if desired. Size: 12 1/4" x 8 1/4". Condition is good overall. Loose metallic wires, border seams need re-stitching, some loose embroidery threads.

From an extensive private collection of ivory and bone desk objects, this is a scrimshaw letter opener, by Alaskan Eskimo carvers ca. 1950, made of walrus ivory, with etched fish form handle; the blade etched with a scene of a seal and her pup on an ice floe; signed “F.E.”famous carver Frank Ellanna,of King Island,Alaska. Measurement: length, 7 inches. Condition: excellent.

Beautiful Chinese amethyst carved with a lotus blossom, now mounted as a clip. Age: Early 20th century (c. 1920) Size: 1.5" length.

This is a pale blue Ando Jubei box depicting a shrine among pine trees, the design flowing down the front side of the piece. Enameled in both standard silver wire and wireless technique and measuring 5.25" x 4", the box is brocade lined and is marked junjin on the inner rim.

Condition: Minor wear to the bottom, and hairlines to the sides of the top as illustrated in the final two photographs.

Antique Japanese 2-panel screen painting of a lotus pond. Wide lotus leaves and pale pink flowers blossom on the surface of the water. A white heron comes in for a landing near a pair of Mandarin ducks. Painted in mineral pigments on silver leaf.

Japanese isho tansu (clothing chest) in three sections. This piece is made of kiri (paulownia) wood and has beautiful lacquered hardware. The top section has sliding panels and a drop in panel made all of keyaki (elm) wood and six small drawers of various sizes. The sliders have pretty plum blossom shaped pulls. The middle section has 3 large full width drawers. The bottom section has 2 large drawers and 2 small drawers in the lower right hand corner...

Contemporary Japanese side table. Made with unusual, mixed hardwoods, creating a bold contrast of color and grains. Its tabletop is accented by lighter wood inlay "butterflies" to hold together the natural fissures of the wood. The second tier below is secured into each leg by mortise and tenon joinery.

A finely carved Chinese agate in the form of a popular motif often seen in Tibet which is the windhorse. The use of Tibetan motifs in Chinese arts began during the Ming dynasty with patronage of the Tibetan high lamas and continued onwards into the Qing Dynasty. The windhorse is carrying a pecha or sutra text, a signature motif often found on windhorses. The stylized ribbons and the waves are done in the Chinese style. Japanese contemporary Kaidon tansu known as a step tansu. Comprised of three sections. Made with solid Keyaki (elm) wood, this tansu will hold many precious things within its various size drawers and compartments. Each compartment opens from both sides, so this Kaidon can be facing either direction. Its doors feature vertical slats to create an interesting contrast of texture and design...
