Elegant Japanese bronze art deco vase with scalloped lip from the 1930s. The vase has 8 faces that start as an octagon at the base and rise up to a bulbous form. Unmarked vase. It measures 16.25" tall 6.5" wide at top.

A 20th Century example of a tradition laos rain drum cast in bronze. Three frogs (12 altogether) on top with a twelve pointed star with continuing concentric circle with stamp decoration. The side has two short vines with a feaf design. snails representing water and fertility.

Large Chinese baluster vase done in tones of under-glaze blue. The scene on this vase goes all round it and is done between multiple layers of borders. The main scene is all plants and trees.

The inside is thinly glazed. The base rim is unglazed, as well as the base. From the pictures it looks rough, but it is quite smooth.

The condition of this vase is very good. There are some places on the top rim where the glaze has skipped over...

Antique Tibetan cabinet with 2 large compartments. The entire front of the cabinet is decorated in kyungbur technique (designs and pictures painted in raised lines of a gesso and resin mixture) on a deep red ground. A contemplative and artistic rendering of a lotus leaf bowl with deteriorated edges. The lotus is a symbol of purity, beauty and a metaphor in teaching Buddhism. Chinese Quan Yin from the second half of the 20th century. It is made of rare aromatic Cheng Xiang wood. The figure stands statuesque and unperturbed atop a turbulent sea holding a string of beads. The robes drape gently down the figure and almost flutter in the wind. It measures 16" tall, base 5" diameter.

Chinese huang huali box from the mid 20th century. The box is beautifully decorated with dragons on the front doors and the top. The top of the box and doors open to reveal an open compartment and four drawers. The box has handles on either side. The piece is fitted with bronze metal hardware. It measures 14" wide 9.5" deep 13.5" tall.

Chinese jade beaded necklace from the early to mid 20th century. The beads are a beautiful green jade. The beads are 9 mm in diameter. 27.25" long.

Japanese Late 20th Century (1995) porcelain charger by master ceramicist, Ono Hakuko (1925-1996).
