This hat is extensively decorated with the wrapped thread embroidery technique which is distinctive to the Dong Ethnic Minority group. Additionally detailed with tassels and plastic beads, the hat was clearly made by a loving grandmother approximately 30-35 years ago. The hat is in excellent condition.

The size of Kamakura-bori Deep Kashi Bowl: 10 3/4"Dia x 1 3/4" High. About 5/8" Thickness. This is prettiest of Kamakura-bori Kashi Bowl ever seen. The bowl is from Showa 13 th, 1938, 76 years old. It is dated on the back as 1938, April 18th. It has beautiful carved design of Ebisu and Daikoku design with Hoju (treasures). Two are from Shichifukujin (seven lucky Gods.). The both Ebisu and Daikoku faces are finely and deeply carved into the wooden body...

Antique Chinese Brown Glazed Han Dynasty style pots probably Tang Dynasty . A unique pair of mini pots in the style of the classic Han dynasty shaped green glazed burial urns. These have a rim band inscription as well as a design at the shoulder the foot is glazed with spur marks in what appears to be a Tang brown glaze. Chinese 20th century Eggshell Porcelain Famille Rose Dragon Vase of amphora form finely hand painted in bright enamel with six red, yellow, and green dragons on a Famille Rose Millefleurs and gold background. The flaring neck rim is decorated with bands of Ruyi scepter heads. The base is encircled by a border of foaming waves and rocks.

Signed on the bottom with an apocryphal red enamel six -character seal mark.

Old Chinese scholar’s rock in a shape of a natural boulder perfectly resembling a huge monolith with layered structure. Gives wonderful impression of immense energy of the mountain, presents great views from all sides. Beautiful stone with incredible wealth of textures and colors. Very strong scholar’s object, excellent patina on the surface of the stone, fitted rosewood stand. Height with stand 4 5/8 inches.

A large Chinese porcelain communist badge depicting Mao Zhedong, the father of Chinese communism. The back of the badge has a date of 1968, the years when China was going through social policy changes. The photo is showing Mao during his campaigns in the Shangxi region. This is an early 20th Century cloisonne smoking set. Set includes a hinged cigarette or cigar box, an ashtray, and a matchbox holder. Some minor damage, but still considered in good original condition. The cloisonné design is of a boat which is somewhat hard to find.

This hand made, gold plated over silver, ring is 1 inch long (measured on the top). It holds three amethyst stones. The large stone in the center is irregular. Two small ones on each side are round. The fancy workmanship makes this ring very dramatic and interesting. Since it was made as an adjustable ring, it can fit a male or female hand. Like Items 3358 and 3361, it also came from a Hong Kong jeweler’s collection. It is in excellent condition.

Pair of vintage Chinese cloisonne brush pots decorated on the front with scholar's desk objects set against a blue background covered in cloud cloisons. On the back of each is a gourd and sprig of coral. A ruyi band encircles the top. The rims are copper and blue counter-enamel is in the interior and base. Each measures 9 1/8" high x 4" diameter. Purchased new in Taiwan in 1974 by the current Tucson, Arizona collector...

This pale pink crystal carving of a female musician is a mid-20th century product. It is 2 1/8” high (with fitted wood base is 3” high), 2 ½” wide and 1 1/8” thick. It depicts a sitting female musician playing a traditional Chinese instrument called “PiPa”. It is in great condition

The body is richly adorned with an incised in a low relief lotus pattern.
