The is a very rare large Koi vase created by a master. The koi are large and much finer than most ever seen on this style of vase. The vase is 9 1/2 tall and 11 1/4 inches wide. Rims are silver with an old Jungin stamp. Condition of this vase is excellent.

Rubbings of ancient stone carvings are illegal in China as the process damages the stone. In very good condition, the rubbing measures 39.5 inches x 21 inches. Scroll measures 30" x 56" and comes in a bamboo container.

The Chinese dragon, the most powerful symbol of good fortune, is predominately depicted on the lid of this marvelous Canton enamel box. A perfect size for displaying in your home, it measures about 5.5 inches diameter.

Fully worked front and back as well as across the unseamed arms, fringed cuffs and bottom perimeter. The arm consists of Germantown yarn and the red is unraveled flannel. Length 25" c. 1870 "After an intensive search, less than a hundred examples have been located which can be considered as representing the type of work produced previous to the 1880's. Large vintage “bush knife” from Lanna Thailand, this is an all purpose tool with a thick spine and very sharp edge- quite heavy as well. The blade is fixed with a steel collar and woven rattan and comes with a bamboo basket type sheath. Total L: 54cm/22.2in (blade L: 29cm/11.5in and handle L: 25cm/10.5in). This is an artisanal village made piece and not mass produced.

Pair of Cranes Painting and Poem by Korean Buddhist Monk Su An Sunim (born 1940). The crane is a an ancient symbol of longevity and immortality. Because cranes were believed to stay with one mate for their lifetime, it is also a symbol of faithful love. When the crane is paired like this, the meanings of immortality and fidelity combine to mean eternal love.
