This circular jade (nephrite) pendant (or plaque) is 2 ¾” in diameter and 3/16” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It is carved on both sides and depicts a young boy holding a court tablet “Hu.” The boy is riding on a dragon headed carp and is surrounded by lucky clouds. A beautiful Chinese green peking glass bird feeder all hand made Qianlong style, but 20th C. in excellent condition. Marked. H:4cm

Measuring 29.2 x 33.6 cm, this textile is from central Afghanistan, home of the minority Hazara people who are Shi'ite Muslims, inhabiting at least three or four provinces (Jaghori, Bamiyan, Orugzan, Wardak). The embroidery on this textile is exclusively silk herringbone stitch on an ivory cotton linen ground. The textile is in good condition overall with some mild staining. Estimated age: early to mid 20th century.

Japanese Karatsu Tea Bowl, Chawan, 2 7/8" high, 5" diameter-top rim, with thick and rustic multiple layers of slip glaze. Purchased in Karatsu in Kyushu by Washington D C collector. The condition is good, no damages.

This pair of bookends was carved by the Igorots on the northern part of the Island of Luzon in the Philippines sometime in the 1950's. Each bookend depicts a tribesman cautiously peering over his shield at the tribesman on the other side. From the position and shape of the right arm and hands, it is likely that each native was originally holding a spear. A very dense black wood was used to create these sculptures

Handsome Silver Plate Sheffield England Double Inkwell. The silver stand with centered finial and ball feet is comprised of two silver rimmed crystal inkwells and a covered center compartment. The edging is a beaded design and the front has a curve to hold a pen. Marked IFS LTD, Makers Mark, Made in England. The silver & crystal are all in excellent condition. Measurements: 8" by 3 5/8 "and 3 inches high without filial, 3 3/4 inches with. Weighs 2lbs approx.

This pretty pair of Peacock Blue Colonial Number 9922 2-Piece Hurricanes were made by Morgantown Glass. These Hurricanes each measure 9 inches high when together. Kokeshi, folk toy of NE Japan. Wood, height 9.5". Naruko-kei, Miyagi Prefecture. Made by Itou Shouichi (Matsuichi?), born on Feb. 13, Taisho 13 (1924). This kokeshi probably dates from the 1970's.

Sterling silver gravy ladle in Kirk's 1937 "Rose" pattern. Fully decorated with a repousse floral design in the great Baltimore silver tradition, this piece would look lovely mixed with similar patterns such as Kirk "Repousse", Stieff "Rose", Schofield "Baltimore Rose", etc. The reverse is marked with Kirk's mark from the period 1927-1961. Excellent condition; no monogram or removal. 7-1/8" long.

Chinese antique large porcelain circular box with cover decorated in polychrome floral decoration. The base and cover are decorated with peonies flowers on branches in both white and famille rose. There is a six character blue Qianlong seal mark on the base.
