Rosewood heavy weight hand carved Wall Bracket shelf, Wall Stand, Adam style, 13 3/4" high, 14" wide, 6 1/4" deep, used in Georgetown home in DC during 1970's and 80's. This porcelain monkey was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen in 1964. The marking indicated this year. It is initialed by the artist Niels Nielsen. It measures 5 inches high and is 3 inches wide. The artist portrays a female monkey in a serene pose. She looks contented, sleepy and apparently pregnant. The modeling is well done and captures the character of our distant relative. She is hand painted in a naturalistic manner. Condition: Exellent first quality.

Museum Quality, very well-hand-carved, and painted Mexican wood mask, "Mascara de Diablo con Serpiente" (Devil Mask with Coral Snake). The mask was made in the 1970s by the famous Mexican artist Victoriano Salgado (1920 - 2012) from Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico.

Offered is this rare Orrefors 'Ariel' glass vase designed by Edvin Ohrstrom - the vase has a 'Stress Line' running through it. Via the 'Ariel' technique, Ohrstrom decorated the vase with the 'peace motif' (dove, flowers, etc). The very heavy vase is 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) wide and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) high. Properly signed on its polished pontil. Because of the stable stress line (see pictures), this rare vase is offered at a low price .

A Kuchi dress from Afghanistan from the second half of 20th century. The dress bodice has a front slit with button closure, and dense silk embroidery adorns the bodice, sleeve ends, and bottom hem. The embroidery is mostly satin stitch, with ladder stitch and herringbone stitch on black cotton. The embroidered sleeve bands and bottom embroidered band are 2 inches in width. The printed fabric is cotton, with small turquoise, yellow and red motifs on a black background...

This is a vintage textile from Paktya province. It measures 28 x 29.5 cm and is estimated to date between early to mid 20th century. Silk thread is embroidered in extremely fine brick stitch and satin stitch on a tan linen background, depicting interlocking chevron and bricked lozenge motifs. Condition: Excellent.

Measuring 25.2 x 30 cm, this embroidered cloth from Jaghori in Ghazni province was made by Hazara women. It depicts in vibrant colors four eight-pointed stars and triangular hooked motifs down the center. The stitching is a combination of satin, herringbone and cross stitch, in silk thread. Embroidery is an important winter activity for the women of central Afghanistan, a mountainous region where villages can be isolated by snow for months...

These 8 champagne glasses or sherbets were produced in Sweden by Orrefors. We believe they were made in the 1960s. The style is very “Modern.” The opening measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and they are 4 3/4 inches high. They are all signed with a stylus on the foot. This bare foot fisherman is 8” high (9“ high with base), 2 ¼” wide and 1 1/8” in depth. It is a middle 20th century product. The long bearded fisherman wears an old style coat and pants. His right hand is holding a fish on a string; his left hand is holding a long fishing pole. It is in excellent condition.
